The game ends up being more about the kid than about Kratos. I’ll give you that Ashley is a completely useless character, the kid in God of War is a real character and how that interaction is the purpose of the game (outside of killing things).

I feel like people put as much work into spamming Dark Souls as I put into my PhD. Which, I feel like I actually learned something from that process (about science, life, etc)- I love Dark souls, but I’m not sure what you gain from this at the end of the day.
I have seen all the alien movies, yet somehow don’t remember this. It’s as if a small alien creature impaled that part of my brain with its 2nd, smaller mouth.
I have played all the Arkham games multiple times (except Knight, which I just started replaying and got distracted), this looks pretty bad. It looks like it’s just going through the motions, with minions just sorta standing around until you hurt them. I realize this is very early footage, but the only way I’m buying…
In those cases, it would be nice to click and see ????. Sometimes I’m trying to estimate how far someone can move or shoot is a real benefit in planning to flank.
I hear Nioh 2 is better, but I got Nioh 1 for free on the Epic store a few months back. Was pretty solid although alot of side-missions going through the same maps over and over again. And all that leveling up is required as some of those missions are hard.
I’m playing XCOM 2 WOTC right now on a higher difficult level, and I”ve had a really good run - I was just about to kill off my first chosen when I ended up in the dreaded crash and fight stages. I battled through a chosen, several sectopods and a bunch of nanobot-guys and managed to make it through, but now all of my…
As someone who just recently moved to complete wireless - I love my Anker Life earbuds- They cost me less than $40, and because they are IPX7, I’ve put them through the washer and dryer several times without issue. I will not buy earbuds unless they are IPX7 anymore.

If only Kotaku had a ‘horny correspondent’ who was also obsessed with Final Fantasy to call on....
I was going to say, I don’t know how ‘understandable’ the DLC would be if you hadn’t played the base game.... but the pinnacle of the game actually touched me and made me sad for a moment.... which isn’t what I was expecting from a Borderlands game.
So, I really liked the first one/2nd one alot (even though it was probably the hardest) because if I got bored failing in one area, I could go try a different area and see if somethings opens up. The third I found a bit frustrating because it was pretty linear. I think this gameplay might be more fun open-world…
I really liked the open-ended narrative was great and lead to me making up characters for my dungeons. In that vein, I always thought the first game would make a kick-ass 8 episode Netflix series... each one focusing on a single character (and their past) as they dig through the various dungeons until the survivors…

I haven’t seen it, and it doesn’t look good, but there is takashi mike “as the gods will” which has a lot of similarities including the red light/green light game. I’m curious if anyone has seen it, but the trailer looks bad:
As someone who played alot of left 4 Dead 5-10 years ago, it’s showing it’s age. The inability to look down crosshairs, and the inability to run at all makes it really feel kinda sloppy compared to modern games. I want to play B4B, but not at $60... probably pick it up when it gets to $20
I’ve enjoyed this game, which plays alot like the android game “Ticket to Earth” only that game is a lot better. Still, I like playing through the puzzles, but have hit the grind for equipment and to upgrade my complex (the colossus) and so when I’m working and don’t plan to use my phone for a while, I’ll turn it on…
I don’t care if they error is in New World or your GFX card ... why bother with this game ? Is it worth the odds of losing a $500+ card? How good could this game really be? For the first time in my life I have a decent running system, it ain’t worth wasting on one game.
I’m still mad that they removed the grilled stuft burrito. That was my standby.
Although I didn’t care for the story, it would have been fine if it was skippable. At one point I got to a boss on an elevator that I had trouble with, and if I could have just replayed quickly it would have been fine. But noo... I had to unsave, run down a hallway, then watch a 2min movie before I could fight again.…
