I 100% completed PvZ1 on steam (although it’s no longer showing my last 2 achievements which is annoying) but I found PvZ2 to be too easy for a long time. I’m sure it got better, but after an hour of not being challenged I moved on to other puzzle games.

I had two students (from the same family) who came in to class at least once a week with a footlong meatball sub, sat in the front of the room so that I could smell the thing for an hour.  I will never eat subway again.

Soooo I’m on the rare side that really likes “Life is Beautiful’? Yes, it’s comical and not 100% accurate, and I would argue less about the holocaust and more about a parent trying to protect their kids from the worst impulses of the world. I don’t think it was ever trying to give a first hand account of the camps.

Argghhh, so many good choices here. There’s Alyx Vance from HL2... who was the first character I ever saw who moved like a real person.

We had a part time nanny for two years and she became a close friend of the family. Our kids were about the same age and she quickly became a family friend who we invited over for big holidays for several years after..... but our expectations list was really small, and included no housework (though she did clean some

Hopefully they take some time to make the combat a bit more interesting. The parkour in 1 was amazing, but melee combat (especially with overpowered bosses) was very dull.

Now playing

I really liked the dying light trailer, which focused on the best part of the game

Money and beer.  I am completely fine with this

The thing I liked most about Dark souls (and DS2) is that it felt there were multiple ways to move forward. I kept saying “alright, I can’t kill this boss, let’s putz around over here and find something I missed...” and sure enough I’d find a new area, gain a few levels and return.  With DS3, the locales are pretty,

That sounds awesome! Like the first half of sunshine (before the stupid serial killer plotline)

Is this necessary? probably not

I’ve been playing a bayonetta off and  on for a few months now... part of the problem is that it’s not a great PC port.... it should be pretty easy for my old rig to handle it, but I get a lot of slowdown, even at low settings.  The other problem I have is savepoints followed by long discussions.  I’ve had a few

So right now I’m playing ‘Evil within’ and this Revik guy reminds me a lot of Nemesis.... for most of the game Nemesis is an invincible enemy that you just need to escape before the final battle.  However, with Revik not only is he invincible... he keeps teleporting in front of me every time I run away.  It’s driving

I had to work as TA for 5 years since my research dollars dried up, which also made it difficult to be a completely successful researcher.  At the end of the day it taught me enough about how I wanted to teach, although I really didn’t get good at it until I was teaching general courses and not just as the TA.

The only person I know who owns one is on the fact track to become a partner in a giant international law firm, who currently doesn’t like his spacious inner city townhouse (with peloton overlooking windows) and so is looking to buy a second one that has a more scenic neighborhood.

Apparently we need N.K. Jemisin to write about a Pokemon slave revolt from the viewpoint of the Pokemon.

This is also the biggest problem I had with Apex Legends. The movement mechanic in Titans felt PERFECT from the first moment I started playing. Having all of that but no wall-running/doublejump is just not the same. This color every FPS I’ve played since, including destiny (The very first thing I tried to do in D2 was

Congratulations, that’s the most optimistic thing I’ve thought in weeks! I love that movie. Unfortunately, it seems difficult to imagine a man who pretends to act like Trump but is also not a total jerk. Still (fingers crossed)

As someone who just recently got in, and probably will not get the DLC, here’s something I’ve found: There just is no replayability in these quests. They’re pretty much exactly alike: the same types of enemies spawn at the same places every single time. This game would be dramatically more replayable if they just
