I really tried hard to watch Southland tales, but in the end the only thing I understood from it was that Dwayne Johnson is a good actor who is criminally underused for anything except action.  When he was on the screen I couldn’t tear my eyes away.  The rest of it was incomprehensible.

I’ve been thinking about this, and frankly, I would loot an aluminum bat and a crossbow for hunting (which I would absolutely fail at) but I think my best possible future would be to distill alcohol. I’ve never actually done this, but I distilled chemicals all the time previously in my work. Yes there is a ‘artistic di

This is something I would totally play with my son. We usually play mario games together, but the 2nd half of these games start to get too hard for him, so we play the first half over and over and over. Unfortunately, we’re still playing on a wii, so it’s going to be a little while until we upgrade to the switch.

Now playing

Did you see the French movie ‘Ares’ on Netflix... although not about gaming, it covered a lot of the ideas of a late capitalist society that’s generally completely broke, but consumed by a bloodsport-esque championship. The fighters are sponsored by pharma companies that inject them with their latest batches of

I believe I opened up the wii for the kids when my wife was out of town one weekend and the weather was crummy... My son was about to turn 5, and my duaghter was 7. This was a little early for my son, although they loved a lot of the simple wii games and the wii fit, even if it was difficult.

I’m at the endgame of DS2, and although I have other stuff to play, I’m disappointed that the other games I’ve purchased on sale are anything but DS3. Right now I’m basically just exploring for missed content.

In the meantime, can they put the original on my phone? I don’t really want to play this on my console (which is mostly for shooting things) and I don’t want it on my ipad (which is apparently too old and filled with my kids games).  I want this on my phone for my morning commute.

While I agree, I switched from Titanfall 2 to Destiny 2 recently and found the PVP at D2 so uninspired. Tiny course, super unbalanced, and just slow. While pilot v pilot was not my favorite, its still light years faster and tighter than most pvp I’ve played (to be fair, I mostly play single player and PVE games)

I found it a bit limiting (my favorite thing about the mario worlds is exploring every nook and cranny) my kids loves it.  So that’s good enough for me.

I live in a middle sized city, and even then, I’ve had some bad luck ordering stuff over the internet, but I’ve never had a bad or broken disc from gamespot.  I’m willing to pay a few bucks more for a functional preowned game than from a random seller on ebay.

I just can’t do turn based battles anymore, especially not an hour of turn based battles to get to a boss fight where I do something other than click x 30 times in a row. I bought one of the classic square enix RPG’s on my phone that I missed in its heydey (I don’t remember which one) and after 10 hours I just gave

I don’t hate that many teams. But I get tired of the ‘we’re the best ever’ crowd , especially when I lived my entire life to see 1 victorious season. The more times a team wins, generally the more insufferable that fan base becomes. That seems pretty universal. For the pats, and this is partially my fault... I married

This the coffee I drink for everything - hot/cold/with nitrogen etc. It’s amazingly dark, great flavor, and you can buy a 2lb bag for $13 at Costco. ($10 if its on sale, then we usually buy 7 or 8 bags in a months).

I usually have only like 3 or 4 games installed at one time (ok I lied, I have like 10) but usually I have three games that I’m really into. I can switch back and forth between those 3 - one multiplayer, 1 really challenging, 1 for relaxation. Right now it’s Destiny 2, Dark souls 2, and subnatutica

As a Dad with kids, I’ve been on a pretty tight budget the last 10 years. IF you’re patient, everything will come down in price. Then, I snatch up a bunch of stuff on Humble bundles, Twitch Prime, and Fanatical. Then I just wait for sales.

Not motion sickness per se, but I remember being really really stoned and playing F-Zero GX, and feeling like I had to hold onto the couch on each turn where it looked like you were going upside down.

I would argue it’s less about ‘clicking’ and more about trying to find your friends. I have a bunch of people I’ve met on valve, but now I play Destiny 2 on Bungie (where I have a few friends from Hearthstone, but they aren’t on D2) I have a few friends on Origin from Titanfall, but it’s annoying every time I have to

Apparently I’m the only one who though Iron Man I was really unimpressive.  I saw district 13 the weekend before and the robots in that movie were so much more interesting, I found Iron Man to be dull.
