I was usually only playing in 15- 20 minute bursts.   So I would play 15 minutes, then go back to work  for 2 or 3 hours.  I liked having the internet on because I enjoyed invaders, just not at the same place all the time.

I’ve played almost all of these games well after their heydey (I’m playing demon souls now) and although I miss not being able to find allies, I really prefer not having people invade my games. Occasionally I would have a problem in Dark Souls where people would camp outside the boss for ours, driving me freaking

I tried it looking for something different after I burned out of Hearthstone.  I found it was the same, and why would I play the same, but clearly inferior game?  Can we please create a good looking game with completely novel rules that challenges me to do something different?

I just recently started playing Demons Souls, and found the begining super challenging (with the running from the dragon right into knights and the boss) at some point I just had to grind for a few levels, get up a bunch of items and arrows, attempt using some new weapons and magic, and then I got through the tower

I finally got around to dying light over the Summer, and while I loved the parkour elements, I felt the combat was pretty meh. I was just dying for a block button, or weapons that felt powerful, instead of hit (back away), hit (back away), hit (jump away). And so while BR sounds fun, I’m not interested with this

Hello, black mirror?

Whenever I play games these days, I always think there should be a better risk/reward system for exploring. Like the giant fortress is collapsing, should I really be doublechecking every passage way, so that I get every hidden piece of armor? Shouldn’t I be GTFOH?  I do the same thing in Dead Space games too... well,

L4D could be a frustrating game at times, but some of best team memories are trying to survive a horde, and a tank and a special zombie while running out of ammo and trying to make potshots to thin out the crowd.  I miss that game.

That’s not going to happen. But there’s lots of solid domestic whiskeys for 25-30 that are just not known yet. Larceny is a wheat whiskey, it’s not bad at $30. Depending on the state, you can good Woodford reserve or Bulleit for under $30 (alas, not the state I live in).  The liqour store sold me on a bottle of eagle

I used to love JRPG... I have played every FF up to XII, I played a ton of dragon quest, Chrono Trigger (and cross) and a bunch of others, especially through PS1. After I started my career (and even more so after kids) I just couldn’t find the time for the constant grind, running through a bunch of boring battles just

I as well, just bought a PS3 to buy a bunch of games at $2-5 a pop. The Last of Us was a day 1 purchase, and while the gameplay hasn’t aged great (it’s still very good) , I still think it’s one of the best video games stories ever told. In fact, it’s so good (and painful) that I don’t think I’ll ever play it again....

Iwas really itching for a new turn based mobile game and downloaded master of eternity which is a ‘moe’ game. I figured maybe, if it wasn't bad, maybe it would be kinda fun.

It’s not that new of a premise though, it showed up in RE4, Primevil had a show like this (although much worse), the girl with all the gifts had a very similar concept (though that was published a year later).

I think what Last of Us did different for me was the characters. Yes, the universe was largely the same. The zombie rules had some tweaks, but were largely recognizable as zombies.  But the characters coming together and interacting together made the whole thing for me.  To the point where I feel like I can never go

I waited for this forever (because I have a big backlog) but I think I’m going to buy dying light and DLC this weekend.

Also recommended Timer before I saw your comment.

I agree with you.  Really liked Timer as a very different kind of romcom

I hate romcoms, but really liked Timer

Prepare for the worst

Hell, I’m a nonviolent person, and this is giving me all sorts of angry, extremist thoughts.
