I don't want to downplay the importance of the other members of Giantbomb or its community, but to me, Ryan Davis was the face of Giantbomb, and I think maybe I even felt at times that he *was* Giantbomb.

Here's the thing though - the police went to his place, searched it, talked to him, and still decided to arrest him. There is absolutely zero evidence outside that facebook post that he has any criminal intentions and he was still even denied bail.

I would imagine they do on occasion, and fire any that tell them things they don't want to hear.

Which of course made it such a huge impact when the rest of the world finally opened up to you 3-5 hours in. Man, I remember that feeling the first time I played the game, walking out of Midgar and stepping out into the unknown.

For me, it partially depends on what I spent on the game. If it's a full priced title at $50 or $60, I usually manage to finish it eventually. If I got the game on a Steam sale, however, if it becomes boring or just not fun, I have little hesitation in dropping it.
