Not a prerequisite. The Hell's Angels near where I used to live were reasonably quiet and were actually pretty friendly/paternal towards me. Maybe that's cause they were a British chapter? Maybe sociopathy is a prerequisite elsewhere.

I always lap up science like a hungry kitten. Sometimes I chase it, half-alive, around the living room until a larger cat dispatches it for me in an attempt to teach me how to conduct research for myself.
I am going to pretend I stopped reading at the title so I can make my bed tomorrow and feel like I've accomplished something for the whole month.
Lily is my hero. I've just got to say that. "Did you give birth to your husband?" is bloody perfect.
Personally, yes, but your mileage varies so much. I have a VERY common set of problems too - depression with a clear starting point, anxiety which doesn't totally cripple me, etc. I'm comparatively easy to treat.
Oh my gosh. Right. After I decided on the university I was going to apply for, got all amped, got my tunnel-vision down and started working hard... my step-dad bloody decided he wanted to do a Master's course at THE SAME UNI. And he was accepted immediately. And started. We argued and I was heartbroken because this…
I take lemon balm tablets. Whether they're working chemically to calm me down or not, SOMETHING helps me feel safer. Maybe just the fact that I'm taking something and thus feel proactive (the placebo effect). I like them, 'cause they're gentle and I know they're safe to take.

I read "supportive words" and immediately thought "buttress". If you like puns, that one's for free :D
Mine were all lesbians or in polyamerous relationships with the single Ken, constantly on missions to save the Shellys from slavery/evil mental institutions. Or occasionally put them in evil mental institutions for their inheritance. I was a weird child.
I'm going to class on Monday for the first time in over a month. I missed four modules. (I broke my ankle and couldn't leave the house.) I am mildly terrified! I love my course and my university, but my leg still can't support my weight and it HURTS and ARGH I HAVEN'T BEEN OUTSIDE IN A MONTH WHAT IS THIS THING CALLED…
LOL. Paramedics get YOUR bodily fluids all over THEM.
I hate to ask, but are you sure coming of it was the right thing? I came off citalopram after a year and was fine for a few months and then crashed like mad. I'm back on it again now at a much lower dose and I'm actually doing really well.
There's no should or shouldn't about it. Some people like it, some don't. I absolutely hate it, for the record. A simple "I have feelings for you, do you, no, sorry, let's move on with our lives" is sufficient. Being 'complimented' by someone who clearly wants in my pants makes me feel like I just tried to empty a bin…
Seriously?! Did you ever find out what the hell was going on with his parents?
Funnily enough, I always preferred to be called a gay woman. (Until I realised that I was probably a bisexual woman actually. But my point stands.)
Completely right. If someone tells you to call them "her" you call them "her". If someone wants to be called "they" you do that. And if someone says they're gay, THEY'RE GAY. Words matter.
Thank you for doing that.
I'm not your friend any more Jezebel! >(
