Gen 3 Toyota Celica's. Seriously, I had a friend at only 6' 2" rip the center portion of his pants out trying to sit down into the driver's seat, funny for me, cold for him as it was -20 C at this point. The sunroof didn't help. At just shy of 5' 9", my hair would brush the headliner if I had the seat fully upright.

Ah. It has to do with torso length vs inseam. Most of my friends are over 6', but only some of them fit well in my Ranger. The guys with long legs, no issue. Guys with long torso's, not so much.

I got pulled over (but thankfully not ticketed) for "stunting" on my bike. It was a nice day and I was carving back and forth in my lane (not leaving it) as we have only straight roads here in Northern Alberta. Cop pulls me over and says "you were stunting". To which I was very confused, we had a short discussion, he

The 'old' Dakar route is actually dangerous unlike their middle east adventure.

The world is in desperate need of a sarcasm font.

Raphael, Please take that comment with a large amount of tongue-in-cheek, I'm not trying to be rude.

How on earth did we get almost all guys chosen when we had Third Pedal Girl, 2Wheel, 4Wheel, FreeWheel and other women who know better than the male commentariat?

I'm going to go out there and say that its not more women we need to inspire but people of both genders.

Well thanks for bringing that up. Not once before did I fear the engine itself while on my bike.

There are also the moose to hit. This is a valid consideration.

I agree with you there. At the same time, I'm glad that people ARE racing the originals. I would prefer that it is at the historic Monaco races so more people get to see them, but its better to race it and crash than have it sit in the garage and weep.

*cough*

All Hail the Jalopnik commentariat!

Where is that elusive 11.8% of Female 911 buyers? I know them not.

I had one for my old Celica, but that had more to do with the fact that the vinyl was worn. Also, it was a threaded version (And the colour matched the interior almost perfectly), and so it was cinched up so it didn't move and made holding the steering wheel pleasant again.

I get a sneaking suspicion that we probably need 20 answers for tomorrows AOTD given the variety of responses here.

Everytime I see this I throw up a little in my mouth.

I agree with you on all points except one: The trim removal tool I paid $2 for was money very well spent.

You must be from Toronto, its better out west here :P
