As a former Sergeant in the Marine Corps I am more annoyed that HE didn't do the right thing in regards to wearing shit he doesn't rate (hasn't earned)....
So the guy was in the Marines, but he was not deserving of the (retired) honorific designator. That's a minor offense. The major crimes were his hackneyed gesticulations, Jack Bauer-impression facial expressions, and bullshit salute.
