It is a demonstration of aerodynamic (F1) vs mechanical (MotoGP) grip. Dependence on aerodynamics precludes close racing due to loss of grip when following closely. Mechanical grip has no such limitation.

If only it was that easy for F1. They’ve mired themselves in a depth of bullshit that they wont soon climb out of.

Jeeps have notoriously had clutch pedal linkages consisting of 99 pieces, 245 badly designed bearings and a geometry from the pits of hell. This might help contribute to the problem at lights.

I’ve run into this dilemma with my Miata. It has no A/C (which was optional until mid-2000) and on hot days my choices are:

I imagine it is pretty terrible if it is really hot outside too. Having the sun beat down on you with the only airflow being from the A/C sucks if not dressed appropriately.

If you’ve forgotten the doors and top, I can imagine that a Jeep would be pretty terrible. Especially if it’s cold and raining.
