I won’t accept “haggle-free” pricing until dealers are taken out of the equation. When you can buy directly from the manufacturer (aka Tesla), where it’s one set price, then fine. But with a middle-man, it means there’s always room (and should be room) for negotiation.

May not be true for many(most?) readers on this blog, but most regular Joes (including yours truly) are terrible hagglers.

“You might think that because you see VWs everywhere...”

Neutral: Do You Actually Like Haggling?

Neutral: With the internet, I’ve usually just waited on dealers to drop their price on a vehicle. (Albeit, I was purchasing a used vehicle from a brand name dealer). Just like a dealer has to be willing to let a buyer walk out the door, you have to be willing to let a car go if the price is too high. Haggling is only

I think you could make the argument that a no-haggle setup could increase customer service, because what’s keeping you at the dealer if not the price? The salesman had better treat you well if he knows you can literally get the exact same car for the exact same price at the next dealer over. I’m walking in knowing

Haggling is not for the timid. But with the right attitude is fun! Remember don't shop for a car when you absolutely need one. Thats how people get taken advantage of. Get your financing before you shop. Don't fall in love with a car. Don't be afraid to walk out. Make em work for their pay! (your money)

Yeah...no.....

Elvis always was, and always will (would) be a Caddy man.

Georgeous car...but....not for the King.

The CTS’ entire segment is struggling. The only cars in the mid size luxury segment that show gains for this year are the XF, Q70 and Lexus GS.

UConnect is so easy to use you don’t even have to be in the vehicle!

I am 97 years old. My musical frames of reference are just getting to 1999 right about now.

Here’s a nice driving glove:

When your choices are “he got his ass kicked”, or “he was totally beating up that 46 year old man” there is no winning option.

For me, this story is even more enhanced by the fact that classy-ass Bo Jackson came out to help Ryan out. Bo Knew Sportsmanship.

Ryan should be first ballot in the Dad Strength HOF

Nolan Ryan is also the subject of one of the most underrated pieces of sports photography ever (IMO)
