Next-gen video sharing not-quite being ready is on the list but the enormous fumble that is GTA Online isn't mentioned? Absurd.

I'll be interested to see how GTA:O is doing in another 6 months or so. At this point it comes off as something produced by a dev living under a rock. There's an abundance of feedback from the community out there, hopefully Rockstar can get over their massive ego or whatever the hell causes such blatant ignorance.

The videogame industry f***ing up the Aliens franchise is one of my biggest disappointments in gaming. Gearbox being handed the reins last time out is just the latest offense.

That's a shame R6 appears to be all but gone, it had one of the best recipes for a shooter and some of my favorite multiplayer memories are from those games.

Holy shit, that was an affront to humanity let alone video gaming. Time to pack it in Spike, in fact why don't you just shut down completely, forever.

Damn impressive... So how do I get one in MN I wonder?

GTAV/Online by far for me. Partially because of my expectations I suppose. When console games like Last of Us & Dark Souls set such high standards in their respective ways, you expect a game with resources far beyond either one to be exceptional and hopefully push gaming further still in some way...

Stuff like this (and most of GTA online frankly) makes it really clear Rockstar is exceptionally inexperienced at multiplayer games design... but wait a minute, GTAV feel like a massive missed opportunity too. Technically? Absolutely amazing, the city is mind boggling in its enormity. Narrative? At times compelling

Is it crazy that I'd take Dark Souls II over both new consoles and all of their launch titles right now?

Yeah, perhaps they should've mentioned that O_o

an RPG completely in its own league regarding gameplay. for as many hours as I spent running around, fighting seemingly never got old and creating items was a blast. would be a shame to see that particular formula just end with one game.

It would take a full-fledged Metroid Prime title for me to even remotely consider a Wii U. The Mario Galaxy games are one my "will eventually play" list, but I'll just get a Wii for next to nothing to do that.

"Welcome to the Next Generation, Everybody"

So in car terms it's like a Subaru BRZ (PS4) compared to a GMC Yukon (XB1).

oh wow, I forgot Manhunt 2 even existed...

Wow, this has got to be one of the most delayed replies ever. I made this comment in December 2011 haha!

Agreed, nothing special (or even merely 'good') at this point. It'll come of course, just not until next year :). Regarding Destiny, I'm excited for it too, but I must say Bungie hasn't shown anything that has really wowed me yet. It's just the overall concept that has my attention. My most anticipated is Ground

Really not regretting holding off on the next-gen at this point. I'd rather have Dark Souls II than a PS4 and every launch title.

I'd avoid the 120Hz TV's if I were you. While it might be fine for gaming, the 120Hz-effect is absolutely horrendous for cinema or television in general, it basically adds frames (24fps cinema now looks like 48fps crap). I'd go into the store and compare 60Hz with 120Hz for yourself, but it's a terrible technology imo

So could I pre-order say Dark Souls 2, MGSV and buy Diablo 3 (PS3) and get this deal at Target?
