Yup, pretty much that :)

Perhaps this is the direction id should go for the next Doom? Not a remake per say, but why not incorporate many of the demons that kicked the series off in the first place? I'd much prefer this over-the-top style for a fundemnatally absurd game like Doom than the "gritty, realistic horror" that id went for in the 3rd

I'm so glad I don't have to sit through these presentations, they are unbearably atrocious. Corporate hell indeed.

Petty hefty list, but my gut tells me someone playing these on Day One won't really be able to tell if they're playing a current gen or next gen game for the most part.

Great point, having run-by attacks would turn it into a momentum-game not to mention a survival game. Maybe they're listening?

Well that certainly looks promising and scary. The first-person side step manuever to dodge that giant undead was particularly noteworthy.

Holy smokes this looking good, September is right around the corner too!

Apologies as my first comments are from late January O_o

One of the (very) few reasons to own a Wii and I'd have to go through this crap to play it? No thanks Nintendo & GS.

What in the name of all that is unholy did I just scroll thru?

Damn, that was actually a pretty solid fan film!

I just don't see it that way, especially considering Carmack has proven himself to be more suited to technology over actual game design. id needs a shake up if they're to release anything noteworthy in the future.

Everything in that video sounds like an improvement or refinement. About a month ago I realized I'd been playing thru Dark Souls since it released in late 2011, if I could only play one series...

Not to dismiss what SOE is trying to do, but I drank the koolaid that GW2 was selling and... well, it turned out to be a pretty bland experience and not much different than my other small amount of MMO experiences (namely WoW and DCUO). For the enormous amount of time an MMO demands of the player, I find playing

As cool as the Rift looks, and it really does appear awesome, the fatigue-factor just seems too pronounced for me to consider it over a big, beautiful display. I realize it's not a fault of the Rift in particular, just of such complete immersion in general, especially for long sessions. Can't wait to try it sometime

I hope he sticks around, he'll probably be 10x more miserable walking away from gaming so early in his career than staying in it. Get a therapist, ignore d-bags like this Beer jackass and continue to be the weird, eccentric, filter-less artist you're supposed to be.

So many hilarious entries, but how billysan's didn't win is mind-exploding.

Great idea for a fan vid, but bad execution and terrible sound.

Don't worry Hideo, I don't think any of us planned on golfing in MGSV.
