Can't recall a developer attaining such high status and praise, only to have it turn to sh*t almost as quickly. Referring to Gearbox of course.

Rage was lightyears from being a compelling game, I'm not one bit surprised by this news. I think the last bit about refocusing Id for tech purposes isn't actually a bad idea. Their design prowess is lacking based on the last effort, pretty graphics aren't gonna cut it, not even close.

"Destroy entire city? Yes or No?"

That's what did it for me.

Lots of great 'shops, I think Herdman2402 wins it for me.

Hmm, sounds like willful ignorance to me.

"Irrational Games hasn't said what the add-ons are going to be yet but..." But Gamestop wants to charge me $20 for it.

It isn't a deal-breaker for me, but my excitement from yesterday's reveal is definitely dampened. Those opening moments of playing MGSV may end up feeling a little hollow when 'Snake' opens his mouth to speak and it just sounds all wrong. This is a continuity error in my opinion.

I didn't know anyone wanted a SimCity MMO... did anyone want a SimCity MMO?

This makes me feel better, let's see if it happens...

Trying to be funny and make a point I guess. I think you answered your own comment just then too haha. I think it's an interesting concept, even though others have pointed out this has been happening in arcades for decades and pay-to-win titles more recently. It's refreshing to think it could happen and be presented

Yeah, but what if you loved sucking at it?

I can barely keep up with Kojima's crazy mind, and this presentation does little to change that. Is MGS V also Ground Zeros? Phantom Pain? Two new games? Three?! Regardless, I'm thrilled for whatever's coming our way. Metal Gear Solid might be the biggest reason I'm a gamer in the first place.

So gorgeous, just mind-numbing.

Gorgeous stuff, if a bit confusing on day one. Looks excellent on my iPad too!

Agreed, I'm still using my original forearms. Call me old-fashioned, but they still work like a charm.

Absolutely fantastic, so glad this turned as we all hoped. I can't recall the last time I've seen this many 10/10 reviews for a game... not that Kotaku works that way.

While it's moronic to say such brash, ego-centric things; it's a pretty spot-on statement. Do most films suck? Yes. Does most music suck? Yes. Do most novels suck? Yes. Do most video games suck? Yes. Do most most video game-designers suck?...

That was the icing on top, genius.

Hmm let's see: Carrey performing like I've never witnessed before, Hit Girl riding a purple Panigale and even more absurd violence than before. Yeah, I'm into it.
