Ok I de-retract the comment I retracted before.
I retract my previous comment, jumped the gun on that one. Let's see what you've got Valve.
Looking forward to seeing where Valve lands whenever they decide to reveal the master plan.
Wouldn't say I was already sold on the PS4, but the spec release did go a long ways to convince me. Good point on BC, I've only dabbled in PC gaming and there are a lot of older titles I'd like to try.
I lol'd :D
Not that this single rig is an indication of the entire SteamBox plan, but it kinda is too. What will the cheapest versions be? $700? Maybe? PS4 all the way.
I love this comment and all of its cynicism.
Good poll, but oh wait, we don't know prices or launch titles so this is pointless.
Not that Crysis 3 is a must play game or anything, but decisions like this will really affect the Wii U going forward.
Loved the Jurassic Park 'shop
I liked Crysis 2, if only because it was one of those rare "you feel like you're in the suit" experiences (like Metroid Prime, the best example of this). Beyond that, they clearly obsessed with visuals over design, so I'll politely withhold my cash for a more fully crafted game. Bioshock Infinite anyone?
No doubt Just Cause 2 had some flaws, but holy shit did I play the hell of it. Might be my favorite open-world action game, once you master the parachute/grappling hook there's no going back.
What a mismanaged mess. But despite all of this and the fact that this may be one of the most cursed-franchises going, I still think the right dev can pull gamers into the Aliens universe. I don't care if its an rpg or shooter, there's a good Aliens game out there somewhere.
Kill bill, laughed so hard
If it were a battle of gif's for console domination, Sony would take it. The comment thread over at EG was ridiculous.
That is industrial design gone horribly wrong.
Just Cause 2 still amazes me with its scale, even on consoles.
I don't know how many people have 1080p displays in the livingroom, but it's far more than enough to justify building a device that plays content at that resolution. Plus we're talking about extremely high-profile products (flagship even?) from these companies, of course they want to be perceived as 'cutting edge' or…
