We cannot ascribe everything to the vaccine
We cannot ascribe everything to the vaccine
When dealing with morons. it won’t ever make sense.
The 1% were only against it because the shutdowns and vaccine regs cost them money, and the suckers ate it up.
Not to mention, this.
Vaccines weren’t available until after the election, so this theory doesn’t quite hold.
You’re completely correct, but when people F around and find out, it’s hard to feel sympathy. ESPECIALLY when I had a couple friends and a couple acquaintances die from it.
230 million or 70% of the US has been vaccinated, and only a handful of people have had undesirable effects. You’re literally more likely to get struck by lightning or die in a car accident on the way to work, but I don’t expect an impulsive uneducated manchild that gets his news from Breitbert to know anything about…
All the same, I’m not going to cry when stupid people die from stupidity.
I think it’s less that they considered death preferrable to the side effects than it was that they considered death preferrable to being told what to do, while also believing that they couldn’t possibly die from Covid and performing mental gymnastics to justify that belief.
I will. Bods to the lot of them.
GA has over 35K confirmed COVID deaths according to georgia.gov. The stats listed on this article say that unvaxed people are 3x more likely to be GOP. I’m willing to bet that COVID literally lost Trump the election.
When you have nothing of substance to offer, you have to rely on catering to the stupid. The sad thing is that it works.
Kind of weird that to the typical Republican leaning voter, the non-fatal side effects of the vaccine outweighs the side effect of death from COVID. Education is severely lacking in this country.
Since it’s the South, they likely had more lax covid restrictions so it may have been a contributing factor. Not even voter suppression could stop his loss though.
oh the irony
I don’t, and its hilarious.
“Oh no!” - nobody
Sorry you lost your father to disinformation.
Anecdotally, you can add my dad to the list of GOP voters who believed vaccine misinformation and died during the Delta wave in summer of 2021. He said he’d heard of “some severe non-fatal side effects in the elderly” (his words, not mine). That combined with the hubristic belief that he may have had a mild case…
I know I didn’t feel too bad when some anti-vax MAGA turd I work with got COVID and died.
