They could touch some dungeon stuff. They probably would just need Link to have a companion while doing that and not center the whole show around that.

I love the idea of the heroes losing, but trying to do a Zelda show that focuses on the gods before Hyrule rather than the hero and title character?

Other M isn't just maligned because it have Samus character. It is maligned because it gave her a bad, annoying character.

I'm going to be sad if this show works out and they don't have Link say "Excuse me, princess" at some point.

Link has had some personality in some of the games. Even if not, it would be pretty easy to make it more of an ensemble and just characterize Link as a stock valient hero. Being courageous is a character trait, even if that didn't make for an interesting character all alone.

step 1: write anything

With the Rice situation, both Ray and Janay were charged with simple assault initially and Ray's charge he was ultimately convicted of was aggravated assault. This is probably what should have happened. She was physically aggressive toward him, so then he spit at her, and then she hit him, and finally he punched her.

Do you think Diddy's up+B is good? Do you think his side+B covers a large distance?

I don't think I've ever played against a Diddy at the top level. You probably haven't either. Most players haven't, there just aren't that many players at the top like that. But that's where his strengths are most pronounced, where his weaknesses are mitigated most.

Diddy Kong can be taken out by a lot of the cast at low percents too. All it takes is smart edgeguarding/gimping/mindgames. Diddy's up+B is pretty bad and pretty easily gimped and like Little Mac's, his forward B doesn't cover a lot of distance.

Even without being completely broken, it can still lead to a stale metagame where almost everyone exclusively chooses from a small subset of the roster. Look at Melee. You won't see Pichu tearing up any tournies EVERRRR. Because the roster is so poorly balanced. Smash 4 is WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY better balanced even

That just might be the most boring render of genitalia I've ever seen in my entire life.

personally, i dont think the skill of drawing accurate anatomical drawings of genitalia is a particularly useful one that we should expect out of legislators, even if understanding of basic anatomy is probably something we should all have just to have it

The way you're talking about "better" is a matter of opinion. You might think Diddy's effective aerial combos are better, another player might think Little Mac's KO Uppercut is better. By comparing simple, objective facts, it's clear that the KO Uppercut deals more damage, has much harder knockback, is faster,

What does my own skill level have to do with the efficacy of Diddy's comboing potential?

Ok, but just imagine how many you would win in Brawl if you used Meta Knight every time instead of Bowser. Or how many Melee tournaments you could win if you used Fox instead of Pichu.

I'd love to see how you would handle getting juggled like that DK up there.

The majority of players wouldn't see a change if Diddy was nerfed in a small way. It could be very easy and completely invisible to casual players. For example, if they increased knockback on his down throw, he'd not be able to combo as easily, but he'd still be very good all-around. However, casual Diddy players

Yeah, and then when counter-strategies couldn't be developed, everyone just played Meta Knight because that was the only way to win?

I wanna go back to the days when dramatic imbalances could not be fixed and the metagame could end up an awful situation where the only way to win is to choose one or two characters out

Smash Bros. is one of the few fighting games where button mashing will only result in the player's suicide.
