I wish they’d release it just so I can stop seeing news about it being released.  I don’t want to see this movie at all (I love The New Mutants but hate horror movies). I just want the insanity to stop.  

I’m at the point where just seeing the words “New Mutants” causes me to burst out laughing.

I am tickled beyond measure at the Babies Yoda usage in the headline. How long did y’all hash that one out before going with it? It’s both correct and oddly dissonant at the same time. Perfection.

X-Men: Origins sucked, but Liev Schreiber was perfect casting for Sabretooth and gave a hell of a performance. Along with Ellen Page’s Kitty Pryde and Kelsey Grammer’s Hank McCoy, its one of the most under appreciated translations of a comic book character to screen.

I really wish Disney scrapped Solo as a movie and made it the premiere Disney + show followed by Mandalorian. The casting was near perfect, and the plot points would have worked better as an 8 ep season verses rushed 2 hour production. I mean, sure. It’s just a real goddamned bummer, because Ralph’s character arc was all about righting past mistakes and becoming the person you want to be, which resonated with me on a personal level, and then something like this happens.

The comment he made about cutting off women’s breast was disturbing, regret clicking the link to his tweets. Saying something hateful is one thing, but being so comfortable talking about mutilating a person is a whole different level of evil.

I do believe that the past and present are seperate things. That people can change. But they have to make it obvious and stick to it.

Well, just to answer question 1--He looks a lot like his comic book counterpart. That’s about all I have. Those tweets are reprehensible and some are deeply disturbing. My sense of humor can run pretty dark at times, but those pitch-black attempts at ‘jokes’ suggest someone in need of some serious counseling.

Thoughts:

I dunno, all his breast/serial rapist/murderer tweets definitely make me wonder if he isn’t actually a psychopath who’d want to cut the breasts off women(and I imagine wearing them around a la Buffalo Bill/Ed Gein).

Nah. Not in this case anyway. Some of these are from 2014 when he was 29, an aspiring actor, and looking for a job. He should have known better. Leaving them up for 6 years, only to take them down and issue an “apology” after they were dug up feels very hollow.

Willow and Serenity are good additions, too.
