The fascinating thing about Penny Dreadful was like The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen it threw together many different literary characters into a shared adventure. Now I don’t know much 1930's LA novels but I don't imagine it will be doing the same thing.

I am really looking forward to the tough conversation between Rex and Echo concerning how Echo feels about his place in the conflict now. We’ve already seen Rex struggling with the continued war and the loss of brothers. I think this arc is going to end with a very philosophical episode.

I personally watched it when it originally aired, and while I would prefer to be able to binge it, this is making it last longer

I’ll hold back on the comparison until we get to the stage where 96% of Waititi’s projects never move past the initial announcement.

On the note of the fantastic animation of this series, and the emotions that show through in facial expressions, when Anakin looked back at Obi-Wan, I felt like I saw the beginnings of ep-3 Anakin. Specifically his feelings towards Obi-Wan with regards to Padme and the Jedi in general.
