You’re probably right, but I’ve actually seen really good Ahsoka cosplay with longer lekku and bigger montrals. I guess it’s tough to move with them on, but just put in a few joints at jaw level (they actually draw her like that in Rebels) so the things can move separately from the main headpiece and you’re golden.

I looooved the episode, but one thing got on my nerves: Ahsoka’ lekku ought to be much longer and her montrals bigger. I get that the headpiece is cumbersome, but it’s not an unsolvable problem. This looked like bad cosplay.
