I can’t wait! I’ve missed Ahsoka, especially protagonist Ahsoka so much.

I laughed so hard at Gary the Unspeakable Train Abomination. Legends is a great show all round, but they’ve been knocking it out of the park with the humor lately.

thiiiiiis! I mean about a woman’s take on the story. Most adaptations so far didn’t even do justice to the agency Mina has in the original novel, let alone allow any womenfolk to do anything interesting or meaningful (with the noted exception of NBC’s *insane* Tesla Dracula where Mina is a med student, among other

omg the horrible accents are the best part.

I’m a bit sick of Dracula (plus, Copolla’s Dracula is the best Dracula, fight me), but Jennifer’s body was fucking awesome and really underrated, so I’m looking forward to Kusama’s take on this.

It’s a weird angle, but I think that’s Goran Višnjić who’s playing Dracula on the Brides TV show. Awesome casting.

I liked how they used what happened to Echo to foreshadow what will happen to Anakin - that he’ll be more machine than man, and how horrifying that can be. The whole episode, I think, was actually about Anakin/Vader by proxy - it was about the man vs. machine dichotomy, yes, but also, and more importantly, about

THIS!!!!

OMG HOW THE HELL COULD YOU MISS THE DUEL BETWEEN AHSOKA AND VADER?!

Yep. It’s already a weed meme.

I’m guessing that Son of Dathomir will remain canon and takes place before the siege of Mandalore, as Maul is hinted to be the shadow ruler of Mandalore towards the end of the Clone Wars. While I don’t like the fact that you can’t open a closet in the SW universe without Darth fucking Maul jumping out (to sell some

Hm, come to think of it, from Rebels we know that Rex, Wolffe and Gregor got their chips out before order 66, and Wolffe served along Sha’ak Ti on Camino...

No, that was Luminara Unduli.

The siege of Mandalore was one of the last armed conflicts in the Clone Wars. It being a siege (i.e. a protracted conflict), it lasted and happened simultaneously to the events of ROTS. The Republic *became* the Empire before the siege of Mandalore was over. It was the Empire that occupied Mandalore in the end, so it

Nope, both she and Rex had to fake their own deaths and go into hiding after Mandalore, so that rule doesn’t apply. (This is from the Ahsoka novel which is canon). Also, we know that it started with hunting Jedi, but from Rebels we know that they were hunting all force users. That’s why the empire formed the order of

oh damn, you’re right, that’s not canon any more. But yeah, she did survive in the old EU. In that continuity she gets done in by some sort of animal in the end, if memory serves.

Well, the Clone Wars technically end with the siege of Mandalore, and we know that Ahsoka and Rex are there and that Anakin wasn’t because he was called back to the temple. These things, at least, happen simultaneously. It would be a strange choice not to have the CW show spill over into ROTS at least a little. I mean

Yay! I’ve missed this show so much. I’m not ashamed to say I teared up during the opening sequence. It looks (and sounds) ah-mazing. It’s just a shame that they can’t do anything about Anakin’s hair because of continuity reasons.
