Ahem:
Ahem:
Fantastic Four was and is one of the best superhero teams in the history of comics. Stan Lee and Jack Kirby created characters that anyone of any age could relate to. They’re interesting, and witty, and cleaver, and fun and everything people love in comics, plus they’re deep, displaying the values of camaraderie and…
Eh, I wouldn’t list it among his best. I hated they way he pretty much threw away Rose and Mickey in that episode for Madame du Pompadour.
So BBC wants him to step down as showrunner, he wants to commit more time to Sherlock, that sounds like a win-win. I’d rather him step down than forgo a season of Doctor Who.
It’s a problematically translated idiom. In the subs I have (which I doubt are professionally done) they don’t translate it at all and have the Japanese phrase.
I’m sure that there are good Dubs, but the only one I found that I liked was Digimon. Also I get get subs faster than the dubbed edition for most.
Eh. I took Japanese as a second language for a few years, and the speaking in third person to who you’re talking to is kinda awkward, but you get used to it. I hardly even notice the reaction naming that you mention. Then when say someone’s name in the middle of a sentence instead of ‘you’ or ‘your’ it actually helps…
I tried the RPGs and it just wasn’t that engaging. Didn’t try the Rumble ones, but if it’s just like Smash Bros then it doesn’t really stand on it’s own, does it?
Oh man, I forgot about that “Believe It” nonsense. That’s when I learned Subs > Dubs.
I would think they’d jump right to trying to streamline the Jinchūriki/Akatsuki story-line with the Sasuke/Orochimaru story-line as a subplot because they would want to rush right into the “good stuff” and skip the chapters that introduce everyone and set up the aforementioned story-lines because they don’t get…
Show Digimon > Show Pokemon
I got halfway through that season before giving it up. Because it was a different universe from the first two series, it lost something for me when it jumped like that. Haven’t seen any of the series that came after.
Ungrey! I forgot about this show, I loved it when I was younger.
THIS. The first two seasons and the movie were fantastic. (And I’ll add images for you :) )
I second the person who said Animaniacs, and would like to add: Invader Zim!
I’m pretty sure the featherless or not debate wasn’t about profitability, but because they had to “fill in the missing genomes” from creatures alive today, such as reptiles, because they could never get a perfect specimen.
Fair enough. But the second someone tells me that the Star Wars trilogy is boring or Superhero movies are too fantastical it’s a warning sign of conflicting interests. Maybe not a straight up ‘deal-breaker’ but it doesn’t make me more hesitant.
I have heard one person say it was the best. I haven’t talked to him in years, though for other reasons.
It’s not just “pop culture”. It also is a sign if you share other common characteristics. Do you have the same type of humor? If you like Monte Python and she likes Adam Sandler, that says something. Do you like Action movies while she likes RomComs? Do you like horrors that she finds frightening? Does she like…
