I highly recommend microwaving the jam, potentially with a splash of water. Much better mixing that way!

Claire, have you named this beauty? I’m adding it to my “to make” list and I can’t find a name in your article :)
I did that once and I think blew out one of the cables connecting the home button. It would work sporadically after that. This was with a 4 or 5, so maybe not an issue any longer but be careful.
I have this problem with a TP-Link N600. The solution is to turn off my laptop’s bluetooth, which completely fixes the problem. Sad day for wireless headphones, but at least it’s fixed.
“There’s also a Gain Flings option included in the sale, but let’s be honest, that’s like a Newman-O to Tide’s Oreos.”

I got a uKeg 64 last year (or the year before?) for Christmas and I love it! I make my own beer and it’s a perfect stop-gap for getting your beer that much quicker. I “keg” 2-3 weeks after brewing, and bottle whenever I feel like. If I run out of keg and I haven’t bottled yet, I keg another. A couple of bucks for the…

I met my wife in Houston, and some of our favorite memories are from nearby hikes! We didn’t even exhaust the “20 minute away” hikes, so don’t let the “60 miles” scare you off.
Find the museum/zoo free days and take advantage! Here are some examples:
Houston Zoo: Free 1st Tuesday each month except summer (June Jul Aug)
Museum of Fine Arts: Bank of America cardholders the first weekend of every month
Houston Museum of Natural Science: Thursdays 2 - 5 PM (my personal favorite!)
The Menil is always…
“1 cup of sugar (I like turbinado. You’re liqueur won’t be as yellow, but I prefer the deeper sweetness.)”
all of the this

My local library gives seed packets for free! It’s very nice.
Hmm yes I will hand-stir my sous vide pork shoulder during its 8 hour cook or chuck roast for 24 hours.

What, no talking about how PC gaming has WAY more f2p?
Canned vegetables too!
Local museums and astronomy groups might be giving away free cheap solar glasses, google and Facebook around your area!
Looks great! Heed Sam’s thickness warning - never go for BBQ sauce consistency when it’s still hot. We did and ended up with savory blueberry jelly!
Bear with me here. Pizza. On a lark, I tried a tiny test batch, and I think I’m going to go full-scale, and I think it will be glorious.

I bought the TaoTronics headphones when the $40 sale first showed up here Monday. Got them yesterday and I’m returning them ASAP. Absolutely no bass at all (probably how they can get 20 hours per charge) and the sound quality gets even worse when switching to the 3.5mm cable.
I recently bought a dollar store set of…
