Bought the massage one, then read the reviews which say you can’t really sleep on it since the massage rollers can make you more sore if they’re not moving. Cancelled my order and bought the only heat one!

Both models seem to have an odor problem for some people. I’m going to plan on airing this out before I give it to

Costco has a very serviceable model (the 805 instead of Amazon’s 870) for $400 in my area.

I made this a couple months ago. Delicious! I did soy sauce and capers with juice instead of the hard-to-find vinegar. 10/10 would make again next time my wife is out of town.

Add more mustard and capers if you’re like me and really like pungency in your “tuna” salad.

There are different kinds of browned onions, and anything you could do in 10 minutes wouldn’t count as caramelized, though they would still be delicious.

It probably depends on your recipe, so I usually start out on griddle - 450, and 8 minutes, then adjust from there. Be generous with cooking spray. It will eventually release on its own when it has crisped up (~10 min?), but for some (my wife), they’re overdone at that point. She likes them fluffy, I like them crispy.

Have these. Love ‘em. Paid $100 for the griddler and $45 (?) for the waffle plates. Getting the temperature right for the waffles takes trial and error, but cleanup is a breeze.

I have too many cocktail books (Death & Co is by far my favorite) but dammit this one’s going on my wish list!

Why is nobody talking about the lack of U.S. public figures? They intentionally left out all American politicians, celebrities, and businessmen. Whether there is behind-the-scenes extortion or just to cultivate a second big media bomb is unknown, but something big is definitely coming.

I don’t expect news sources to

Whether consistency is important or not depends on the cooking style. Caramelizing onions is much easier if they are all consistent, as missing a few under-cooked ones will ruin the sweetness. When using high heat, such as grilling, unevenly cut onions must be babysat so the thin ones don’t burn before the thick ones

My old iPhone 4.0 running iSymDVR 2. It has a cracked screen so I’m not going to resell it, and I hate electronic waste so I use this instead of buying a dedicated dash cam. $5 mount + $4 fisheye lens clip and I’m good to go! (I already had the power cable)

True, however all of those considerations fall outside of the break-even point where the garden pays for itself. At that point, as long as replacement parts/pods cost less than the entire kit, any added expense would be covered.

I enjoy our herb garden for convenience, but I’m interested in the economics. Let’s say you can get 1 bunch per “pod” per 2 weeks, and a bunch of herbs cost $2.5 at a supermarket.

$45, 3 pod: pays for itself in 12 weeks
$100, 6 pod: pays for itself in 13.3 weeks
$196, 9 pod: pays for itself in 17.6 weeks

Kevin — might this be a reason to have no password on your computer? I’m having a hard time imagining how someone would activate Prey without having my password.

Why do I have to install the stupid app before I’m allowed to access the web-based version on my desktop? That seems needless.

I bought a waterproof case of a different brand but the same design, and I must say I’m impressed. It worked for me, though I only went into 5 ft of water, but for hours at a time. No problems thus-far!

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. This thing is awesome, especially with the waffle plates!

Got it, yeah. There’s only one beer I actually prefer /not/ pouring into a pint glass, for whatever reason, and that’s Belhaven Scottish from a can. Delicious stuff, but I’m not sure why I prefer its canned version straight from the can over bottled, bottle poured, and can poured.

Whatever you do, don’t do this. 2 Tbsp is 1 oz, which costs about $8. Beyond cost, that is WAY too much truffle flavor for 1/2 cup of ketchup.

It’s back! I just got it! GOGOGO!
