How would you feel if he did this to an 8 year old? Would it then be unacceptable and not funny to simulate a public rape? People who do stuff like this support the belief system that forcing sex on women is really kind of ok, kind of funny and not at all horrific. It also keeps women in their place and intimidated

If he was doing this to children, people would freak the fuck out as they would then perceive that it does suggest that the rape of children is really kind of funny/acceptable when it's not for reals. I mean, what are kids doing flaunting themselves out in public if they can't take the heat, right?

Teahadist? A little much.

As far as academia and the great thinkers of our time, are we still pretty much looking at 99% white men? Where can we find women, POC, queer voices, etc. — and how do we amplify these voices to the mainstream?

That is the best description ever of what foie gras tastes like. I'm not ashamed at all. Anthony Bourdain is convinced the geese don't suffer because they don't have a gag reflex and naturally gorge themselves before winter anyway and if my future husband says so, it's good enough for me. ;)

Don't be ashamed, it really is delicious. It some of the tastiest fat I have eaten. If it wasn't se expensive, it would be on everything.

high five

Is as actually curious about the taste. You've intrigued me.

Welp, that description convinced me (I knew already) that I would HATE it.

God, I love some Foie Gras so damned much. SO DAMNED MUCH. It's actually one of my favorite foods, even after I know how it's made. The smell. The intense flavors. OH GOD.

My husband recently read an interview with Grant Achatz, famous chef at Alinea, one of the world's best restaurants. The interviewer asked him what the 3 most important tools in his kitchen are. Grant's answer? Salt, pepper, and MSG. If it's good enough for him, it's good enough for me.

Starcrunch at #2 is a statement I can get behind but Nutty bars at #17 is me giving you the *side-eye* of thinking olives are bad. In other words, NOPE.

Straw feminism and benevolent sexism, terrific.

"Petty Tyrant" was so captivating, it had me on the edge of my seat!

"Fiasco" is painfully funny.

What I Learned From Television! That is one of my favorites, but my all-time best is Return to the Scene of the Crime. I may or may not have the posters from both of those live shows hanging up in my bedroom presently...

This story, relayed in an accessible but compelling manner, offers surprising insight into the human condition.

I am humbled by Mark for writing this article about my "alien look." Thank you. I started doing this a few months ago, I'm self taught and it is just a fun way of entertaining myself and the people around me. To the people who do not enjoy it; sorry about that. To the people who do; thank you for the kind words & if

I think you have bigger problems than keeping a man if the one you have has no moral compass. Say being murdered in your sleep by your sociopath boyfriend

I believe you. How can I help, though, other than reporting abuse if I see it?
