Yachts vs. mere “boats” are like pornography - hard to describe but you know one when you see one. The proles have boats, not yachts.

Like chainsaw sculpting, the people that are really good at it are just mesmerizing to watch, all kinds of chaos and debris flying yet what comes out is amazingly detailed.

“I believe I speak for the entire human race when I say, ‘Holy fuck,’”

Sure, it’s all fun and snark until they come for the vessel YOU’RE on. We can roll around in the schadenfreude of millionaires getting some form of overdue comeuppance, but what about that scuba charter I’ve got next week that I saved up for?

The whole thing boils down to “don’t be an asshole” and everyone gets along just fine.

“Don’t light things on fire and throw them in the back of the truck”

This is a fabulous vehicle - if it were 5-6k. As it is, that’s a nice starting price for an OLD but good ride.

I remember these being considered an affordable alternative to a 635CSi in size if not performance . Now a Civic is larger than these . I wish Honda would make something all-analog like this today. Still nearly 10 grand for an acura that the owner couldn’t rattle-can those yellowed dustcaps. It’s a $5000 car if that.

That’s an interesting progression, as you watch the early driver does something dumb but not deadly crashes from the “All” category come back to the pack while the elderly “I can’t see 15 feet in front of my car” full-speed wrecks take the mantle for “Fatal.”

Let me educate you:

But those Cragars have got to go”

I never bought one of these, but drove one or two with good intentions back in the day. The were kinda fun little runabouts, a little bad in the NVH category compared to a contemporary Honda or Toyota (or most anything else) by by all accounts a pretty reliable and cheap car to run. I am also biased towards cars that

Never understood people that act that way, especially when they are trying to sell you something. I’m with you, it could be the greatest deal in the country in my own backyard, but if you act like you’re doing me a favor, I’ll travel a little and spend more to not have to deal with the attitude.

I refuse to join any club that would have me as a member.”
