Hahahahaha! If it helps, I’ve had it stuck in my head for days now, as well.

It’s just an extension of a normal skull feature, and full ossification of the tendon is pretty rare. You also see it in people who read a lot. Basically, the headline should be “known phenomenon seen in heavy readers also possible in heavy cell phone users”. I suppose that’s less exciting.
I will always use even the thinnest excuse to post it. :D
“Who Knew?”
I’m also baffled because this news was all over a few months ago - like, how did they miss this?
I was thinking a semi-sentient pork roast, myself.
Thank you! That actually is an extra badass photo!
Oh, for sure - and I can see the photo at the top, just not the one in the middle of the story. I’m mostly curious about the specific photo they chose, like, is it just a really excellent shot? Do I want to sift through tons of photos? Occasionally when this happens, some kind soul will post the photo in the comments…
At least I know it’s not just me. :/
Can anyone post the photo? Kinja is being garbage about showing embedded images.
They also both get pretty thorough coverage in The Plantagenets: The Warrior Kings and Queens Who Made England. I really love that book, although it’s definitely a fairly hefty read.
Agreed. I actually really love this image specifically for reproductive rights because not everyone with a uterus is a woman, so it encompasses everyone under threat from anti-autonomy legislation. For women's rights overall, it's not good for us to use so much cis-focused imagery, and it should absolutely not be used…
Considering DJTJ’s impressive penchant for shooting himself right in the dick to own the libs, I think we can all look forward to him talking a lot.
Chrissy Tiegen winning Twitter again:
Yeeeaaahhh - a LOT of the comments seem weirdly personally butthurt. Like, if you find this guy’s lifestyle aspirational or him likable, that’s fine! None of it is a reason for us to vote for him, though, nor does it explain the weird emphasis a lot of media has put on him without actually outlining any substantive…
Dear Ms. Owens:
Her legal name is Stefani Germanotta
“The teacher at the beginning told us there was no such thing as politically correct and we could say anything we wanted, then anytime I speak up, I get fustigated for being sexist”
The world doesn’t deserve her, but it really does need her. She is just so amazing.
