First of all, great name. Secondly, what do we know about Bryan Singer? We know he was accused of a crime by one person (who had a history of accusing people of crimes) and tried to settle the case out of court. His accuser refused the settlement and his case was almost immediately dismissed by both his lawyer and the

Well, you are clearly an inhuman monster who doesn’t deserve to live. #HyperbolicVitriol

Yeah I can understand that. I have a huge attachment to it from watching it repeatedly as a child. But looking back on it recently I realize it’s pretty standard 80’s action movie fare. I think the performances are pretty solid (with some glaring exceptions) and the Vietnam allegory is pretty well done. But at least

I thought it was good. A lot of fun, some great acting, and some great additions to the mythology. It was no Alien, or even Aliens really, but it was better than any other movie to feature a Xenomorph by a mile. I guess we just aren’t very smart though.

Well that’s totally fair. I guess I wasn’t quite getting that part. And I haven’t gone back to read the presumably dozens of responses you’ve had to write to all the others. Let’s just chalk it up to another Internet misunderstanding!

Well yeah, now they have started to get quite a bit more rude, and I’m with you that that’s not okay. I’m just saying it didn’t start that way, and your defensiveness caused it to escalate. But is lines like “I’m still sticking to the notion that I know what’s best for me,” that is confusing people. You’re treating

I don’t see anyone attacking you and certainly no one pissed off. I think people were at first trying to help because all you said was you didn’t have the HD version. Then when they tried to tell you how to get it, you basically told them to shut up because you weren’t interested in the PC at all, forever and ever.

Me too.

How about an Iron Giant who yells “EMMMMAAAAAA!!!” and runs around acting like a fascist?

The delivery of “They taste like... Burning.” Is one of my all time favorite Simpsons moments.

That is a very reasonable price. For some reason I had it in my head that they were these rare artifacts of yore. I may just have to bite the bullet on that.

I completely forgot about this game. I used to stand in Media Play and play the demo over and over again, fruitlessly wishing for a Dreamcast. I wonder if my laptop can emulate it...

Would you object to some sort of sea life? Like a dolphin or seal perhaps?

I’ve only heard of Rachel and Miles X-Plain the X-Men. But long form fiction podcasts are intriguing to me. I had looked for such things once or twice before, but never had any luck.

Red Letter Media is great. I tend to agree with almost everything they say. And it's always fun when a movie has them on opposite ends like Jurassic World did. Love those guys. Especially Wheel of the Worst.

It was funny to me how quickly the chanting failed to catch on. I’m an American but I found that weirdly uncomfortable, as well. This is a momentous day for all of science and history. The Nationalism seemed out of place.

Exactly. I loved that Cap run, and another good example for me is Grant Morrison’s run on Batman. I know he’s not for everybody, but Dick and Damian were an amazing Dynamic Duo. In that instance, I actually wish they had waited longer to bring Bruce back.

Yeah, that's the one. People reacted like it was the end of the world, but really it was just one chapter of a much larger story Slott has been telling since he started on the book. Besides that it was an interesting story about why Doc Ock, despite good intentions, could never measure up to Peter Parker in the role

An alternative opinion would be that he told the story he wanted to and didn’t listen to people whining about his “trolling the fans”, and actually ended up putting out one of the all time great runs on Spider-Man that is still going on today! Especially Superior Spider-Man!

Dick works for Argus or the CIA or something now. His book is called Grayson. Damian, I’m not certain about. He was killed off at the end of Batman, Inc, but I am fairly certain he’s been brought back and actually was Robin up until Bruce “died” in Batman #40.
