That was such a bizarrely awesome show (and comic). I wish it had lasted longer. I don't think it was affiliated with Liquid Television, though I may be mistaken. I also remember the much less enjoyable (to me anyway) The Head, which came on either right before or after The Maxx. Back when MTV let people be creative,

Hahaha. I am totally down for that. More interesting Hulk movies is a boon for everyone, whether they realize it or not!

Yeah. Tim Roth was a great Emil Blonsky. And I quite liked Tim Blake Nelson as a not-yet evil, but clearly morally bankrupt Samuel Sterns. I do get what you mean by unambitious though. You're totally right. I think it was a conscious effort on Marvel's part to make it much more Hulk Smash! and less Hulk

Ah okay. Cool then. Now that you say that, it rings a bell. In that case, I want a Mandarin/Fin Fang Foom scene in IM3 where he first finds the objects that he would later craft into the Ten Rings!

I want in on this action! I love BOTH Iron Man films, and BOTH Hulk films! They were very different styles of storytelling, and obviously very different stories, but that is the beauty of the Hulk as a character. Yeah, he's a bad ass monster who can choke out The Abomination and punch holes in tanks; but he's also a

Wow. I just... Disagree with nearly every point. I loved the fight scenes in IM2. The final, extended battle with all the drones was the closest I have ever felt to actually watching a comic book on screen. I much prefer Don Cheedle to the highly overrated Terrence Howard. I agree about the suit, but so what? A suit

The Mandarin was the terrorist leader from the first film right? His gang was called Ten Rings, so I always assumed that was their attempt to make the racism inherent in the character slightly more palatable to American audiences of the 21st century. Making fun of the Chinese is not cool anymore. Afghanis though? Hell

Aliens: Colonial Marines will exist in continuity with Alien 3 and Resurrection because it takes place before both of those films. It's only months after Aliens, from what I understand, so it doesn't need to contradict either of those films. Alien 3 took place a few years after Aliens, and Resurrection was several

Can't argue with that! He's a much better actor anyway.

I think it was Steve Carrel...

Yeah good points. Daniel Day-Lewis blew my socks off, as he tends to do. Especially since he seemed like such a kindly old man at first... And Fiennes did play it very dark. Tormented even. I loved it. Who am I kidding...? I love them all!

Yeah. I definitely agree with you. Also, I think just seeing stills of costumes that are specifically designed with the idea of being filmed in motion in mind don't do them proper justice.

Hahahaha. As well it should.

No problem. The best example I can think of is the rooftop showdown with Two Face in TDK. I remember seeing shots of that being filmed in the daytime.

Meh... If it cuts back on the cheese by about 70% it could make for some great television. As it stands... meh...

I just posted this same thing a bit further up the boards... that'll teach me not to finish reading.

I've got to say, while I have yet to see Revolutionary Road, Michael Shannon is one of my favorite actors. He consistently steals every scene he is in on Boardwalk Empire. If you are looking for some more from him I highly recommend Bug, very disturbing but his acting alone makes it worth the time. And:

Most night time scenes for IMAX are filmed in the day, and converted to night in post production. Don't start panicking yet!

Yeah, I can understand all of those points. And I certainly do agree with your thoughts on the rebranding. I think the idea in XIII was that the "classic" job names wouldn't fit with the futuristic aesthetic of the game, and while I can see that to some degree, I agree with you that it is a mistake. Though, to be fair
