@Funkmeister: Oh no, you may be totally right. I haven't played it yet, you just shocked me by comparing one of my favorite JRPGs to one of my favorite loot-gathering games. And random dungeons? Really? Fetch Quests? I had no idea.

@CubemonkeyNYC: Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Other than the pulling the Star Destroyer down, I don't think I encountered one bug in that game. At least none that I noticed. Can't be that broken...

@EnigmaNemesis: I don't have a problem with him remastering the films, I do have a problem with Greedo shooting first. That was my only problem with the re-releases... Well, I also prefer the puppets to the CG Jabba atrocity.

@reducks: High five! I also suffer from RPGADD! We even have almost the same experiences with the games you listed, except I never beat FF VIII, I did beat FF IX, and I have yet to play DQ9.

@WookieLifeDay: Thor is not an alien. He is the Norse God Thor. In one series, Earth X (and Universe X and Paradise X respectively) it was revealed that they were all aliens who were influenced by other's beliefs. That's not canon though, as that was a sort of massive What If story.

@Lider: It's more like an First Person RPG version of DF. It's certainly similar, but it scratches a different itch. I discovered this game and Dwarf Fortress in the same week about a month ago. Since then I've just stopped buying retail games... It's amazing what these little indie titles can do.
