@Bongoes: American Jesus was also terrific. Whatever you think of his other stuff, you gotta give up to that one, and Red Son, at least.

@collex: "Replay: Ben Affleck is a so-so actor, but he is a great director. So anything he does next, I'm in."

@The_Geb: You are probably right, but I still have my fingers crossed for Red Son!

@Burke: I thought the same thing when I read that.

@Cantatus: I think it's the general travelogue style. To me, it seems a bit closer to Anansi Boys.

@nctrns: Then that is how it works. Whatever you need, man. Whatever you need.

@Eddard: Agree. Agree. Agree. Except for the bit about Iron Man 2. I loved it, and really don't see why it gets so much flak. It could have been better I suppose, but couldn't everything?

@Sandra Dee: If they didn't retcon, well then it wouldn't be Doctor Who would it?

@Firelance: My vote is for Dead Rising. It's really just delightful.

@Baconrath: I know it's a lot better. I haven't tested it on a non-HDtv, but there is a noticeable difference in font size.

@Phantom_Photon: It's the game's title, and to my understanding a portion of the city has been walled off to serve as a replacement Arkham.

@bookwench: Thanks for the info. I'll have to check her out. I know what you mean about the expectations, so I'll just pretend that I heard she was awful and go from there. :)

@CNega: I always picked her on the Big Machine. There was also a smaller version with only four players possible, and I would pick Colossus on that one. They had the best Special Moves by far.

Anybody know about this author? The only thing I've ever read by her was some early X-23 which I quite liked. I am very interested in the concepts for her books that she laid down for us here, just not sure how she handles prose. I am reading so many things these days... Thanks to you io9!

@Cupajo: I've taken to just calling "them" the Red Team and "us" the Blue Team. Neither side is bad guys. That's just war.

@1Opinion: This was my favorite episode of TAS when I was a kid. Man, I remember just being blown away by the big reveal in the end!

@Calrekabooki: What's unbelievable about Killer Croc? It's not like he has super powers or something, he's just a big, deformed, cannibalistic Circus-freak.

@uptonogood: Ha. Well, that's more for me then... in my dreams.

@AlienRopeBurn: That's fair enough. I seem to recall hearing about a PC game that recently came out that really nails the Lovecraft atmosphere. Sneaking around a castle? You have a lantern? Anybody know what I'm talking about here?
