I’d say the gamers are a bunch of idiots with nothing better to do than bitch about something that doesn’t really have an effect on them in the long-run.

To this day, I don’t care what anyone says... Zune > iPod. (At least when comparing the older generations to one another)

I always loved that anti-piracy ad. “You wouldn’t download a car, would you?”

Oh I SO would.

Right? I STILL don’t know anything about the western release of Phantasy Star Online 2. :T

Honestly, it sounds a lot like how Counter Strike works with buying weapons through-out each match.

“even in raid”

That’s not one of the times when you should expect framerate issues. Framerate drops happen in the overworld; not in instanced zones.

I hear Parallels windows client works better than native mac client.

“Best”

Replace Best with easiest.

DirectX is proprietary, but the number of PC users vs Mac users puts Mac users in the minority.

Fact is, people shouldn’t expect Mac gaming to be on the same level of PC gaming when the Mac gaming market is so much smaller than the PC gaming market.

“Let’s not pretend PC gaming is perfect compared to Mac anyways.”

Let me correct that;

Let’s not pretend PC gaming is perfect.

Compared to Mac, it IS perfect.

Because most of those people are totally uninformed, walk into their local Best Buy, and get talked into buying a Mac by the sales consultants being pressured to sell Mac’s over PC’s because they generate higher revenue.

Source: I used to work at Best Buy selling computers.

This.

How could I not? :D

You’re a funny lady.

That’s not to say you SHOULDN’T buy the combo pack, but just that if money is an issue then it isn’t entirely necessary, whereas in the case of games like WoW you can get access to their expansion content very quickly.

Well honestly, if you don’t have the base game there’s no reason to buy the expansion until you’ve beaten the original story, which is pretty long. Would take you 1-2 weeks playing the game for a decent chunk of every day to beat the entire base game story, so depending on what your schedule looks like as far as work

FF14 is generally pretty inexpensive. I’ve seen it float around $15-25 for a while. Only exception to that is if you decide to buy the combo pack with the expansion.

As Smart has said, it is similar to WoW’s combat, but it’s different in that it has a combo system in place, which makes it a bit more in-depth and complex.

I wouldn’t say you’re doing it wrong; You’re doing it the “MWAHAHAH I’M FILTHY RICH!” way hahaha

120 should last you until like.... 52-53 maybe? Possibly a little longer. They said 130 will last till around 55.
