I'm entirely sure that they'll have some sort of countermeasure in place in case of server outages. Otherwise the vast majority of players will have no problem, and the military argument is invalid unless you're actually in the military, which I'm entirely sure that most of the people making that argument are not.

I can almost guarantee that neither of the two consoles will be $349 or less. I can also almost guarantee that both of the consoles will be at least $399.

Not the same thing. It doesn't actually take you to the dash, it brings up the dash and if you try to do anything it tells you to quit the game.

That's the thing. It really isn't that big of a deal, but so many people are flipping out because of something that really doesn't happen that often.

2GB per month is more than enough to get online one time per day for a quick validation.

The 360 doesn't require you to pay for Xbox Live in order to have an internet connection with it. I think you COMPLETELY misunderstood.

They mean that this game will be multiplayer-only, not that you need to pay for Xbox Live in order to use the new console. Christ, people aren't very bright nowadays.

Meh, I don't really think it's a good idea to take these rumors with anything more than a grain of salt. Once Microsoft makes the reveal, then we'll get actual facts rather than all this negative speculation.

The 3DS isn't having any problems now as far as I know. The only problem it ever had was that it had far too high of a price tag, it's doing great now.

To be fair though, adding U to Wii was just fucking stupid. If you look at their handhelds, the letters they added to the ends of each one actually had meaning (I don't know what SP was supposed to be, so I'll skip that. Oh and, DSi is also an exception, but that made sense because it was literally the same thing but…

They did the same thing with Sony... I don't know if you remember the "Sony does not exist" article (something along those lines, basically talking about how Sony is a dying brand overall.)
