LEGO Bricks should be considered a family heirloom and passed down from generation to generation. My mom’s Aunt gave My brother and I a box of her kids old LEGO Bricks when we were young to help us start our collection(LEGO has always been expensive). Over the years of our childhood we collected sets with allowance

You know what’s a better gift than whiskey stones? Whiskey. A bottle of crown royal will (should) warm any man’s heart.

I beat myself up harder for wasting my free time than I do for wasting my work time. When I’m on Twitter/Reddit/whatever when I should be working, bleh, as long as it’s out on deadline, that’s just part of the advantage of working from home, that ability to instant de-stress.

“There are no stupid questions.”

“Family comes before everyone else.”

“Good things come to those who wait.”

That’s not advice, but rather a random assemblage of words.

I think there’s an important distinction between “cell phone” and “smart phone” that’s getting glossed over. Giving a kid an old school voice-and-text only phone is both logistically convenient and harmless.

Easiest way to do it - the kids can have a cell phone when they can buy it for themselves. If you can understand what someone has said, typed or written - don’t correct them on spelling or word use unless that’s a function of your job.

Dude, it’s cool. He has French friends.

Don’t. Jesus. Let the boss correct the staff.

Dear Mr. Pedantic,

My one overriding theme in life is efficiency. I had a similar epiphany: Often the most efficient thing is to do whatever feels right. For example, the stress of planning every minute of a vacation renders the entire vacation pointless, I get much more out of a vacation winging it and maybe missing an attraction or

For 90% of people, doing something you love as a job would ruin it. I’ve found it’s better to be content with a job I usually like, and reserve my often fleeting passions for hobbies.

Pho is the correct answer, lots of jalapenos and sriracha if I’m especially congested. A piping hot bowl of pho followed by a couple of popsicles and a nap make sick days much better.

Came for this. Not disappointed.
