thanks! Wasn't aware of that. Sounds like the engineers still haven't found a way to get mid engined cars cool...even after several decades

I know we didnt have the Internet back then, but I dont recall mid engined cars before 2000 having an issue with catching on fire like modern ones do. Have we lost some engineering mojo?

Whoa!

or a slightly lifted much more useful hatchback CLA. I wouldn't buy a CLA, but I'd definitely consider a GLA...

if you think about it, cars like the GLA are true SUVs, in the sense that they are sporty. They put the S in SUV

I just drove past OHare and it looked like business as usual....planes coming in/out

my mom had one of these. Never really drove it much, much less pushing it. Last year I volunteered to be an instructor for a driving clinic - a more realistic drivers ed. There was quite a variety of cars, even some sporty ones, but the most fun car to slalom, skidpad, and do the autocross course was one kids Town

McNish...I like the R8, who doesn't, but what I wouldn't give to sit in the passenger seat of that R8 with McNish at the helm.

you are not worthy of inhaling the exhaust of McNish! ;-). He's one of my racing idols, so I am beyond envious!

I was just about to say, if you worry about dings and such, park far away.

that's a beaut, eh? I'd take off in it!

I love the....I can't recall the name exactly...I want to say "triple diamond black" paint, or something like that. One of my favorite paint jobs of all time. Gorgeous, and again, on a car with some mileage on it. And I love the styling, especially on the wagon. If Darth Vader had a family wagon, the CTS-V wagon

On further consideration, I would buy one and paint/mod it to look like this:

I was expecting a lot more from an Audi interior. This barely looks better than VW, maybe not even. Would also add that $40K also buys a lightly used S4, used AMGs of various flavors and countless other cars with better interiors and performance. The only advantage I see is better MPG and a warranty (the latter

It would be great if they could somehow have an option where, instead of that, you can get an interface where you can put your ipad or Samsung galaxy instead.

I know I am biased, it IS an AMG, after all, but I love the look of this thing...I normally dont like hatchbacks (I know, no Jalop points for me!), but this car...it just looks awesome...a rally car but with futuristic lines and a lux interior. The only thing I hate on many of the new MBs is that info screen that

looks like the mutant baby of an s2000 and z350.....Audi's styling has gone from cutting edge to straight edge blah

thats a badass wagon...still would prefer the E wagon...especially if I could somehow get the third row seat on it...

not that this means a hill of beans, but my MB rep says no AWD for the c63.
