Been running this one for almost a year now. Love it. Has been reliable and I love its form factor since it just looks like part of the mirror mount.

So you’ve had a Ferrari. You’ve had a Skyline. You’ve had a Hummer.

That is a really sweet build!

That’s a crazy upgrade, you’ll love it! It’s incredibly freeing to never have to mess with game settings (at least for a couple of years or so), you can just crank it to high and go for it.

Yep it is, it’s been fantastic so far. It’s a beast of a card, is silent most of the time, and quiet at full load. Then again I upgraded from a 5 year old card so it was a huge jump for me. I went with the 970 due to it being the recommended card for Oculus Rift games.

I was really pleasantly surprised with how well thought out the case was, so no worries on things not fitting! The only “challenge” is keeping the cables away from the CPU cooler, everything just sort of fit into its specific place.

I just finished a build similar to this, made a compact little powerhouse. Just throwing it out there, you can throw all of these components in an RVZ02 which is even smaller:

I wouldn’t call it awesome by any means, but the Ford Escape can haul 3500 lbs and includes trailer sway control, which is pretty awesome for a vehicle of its size and price. It’s why I picked mine up since I wanted a non-truck to haul a nice sized enclosed trailer.

Since this is an old post that hopefully not many people will see, here’s my stupid face after the ride:

I’ve been a believer for years. Yeah, they’re not $5-10, but as you said, you get a custom mount for your car and for your phone, and it just works amazingly. Their quick-swap plates also work really well, so I have a mount for my phone and then a universal phone holder that I can swap in if needed.

A million times yes.

I test drove a Slingshot yesterday (LOVED it!) and honestly I completely accidentally did a mini-burnout from a stop sign. God it’s a fun little vehicle.

I LOVE my R3 Light but this actually surprised me to read. The one time I got caught in rain with it I was soaked to the skin. The only part of my clothes underneath that weren’t soaked were the parts that my airbag vest covered. This whole time I’ve been telling people the Light isn’t waterproof, but maybe 3 hours in

I recently got an iPhone for work and have an Android as my personal device, but I was thinking of switching so setup the work iPhone in terms of apps and everything like I would if it was my only phone.

Sony Z3 Compact. I snagged a good deal on one as an in-betweener while my Moto X went in for repairs but I’m pretty sure I’m going to keep it.

I was doing the same thing. I had so many things that I felt like would be a waste to get rid of or I was telling myself I had to hold onto for sentimental reasons (rather than wanting to hold on to for sentimental reasons). I haven’t missed them one bit. It’s very freeing.

Everyone should read “The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up.”

What is their end-game with those kinds of scams? A roommate of mine who is not super tech-savvy fell for one on his Mac. He said at a certain point he Google searched the number and saw it was a scam so hung up and closed the connection, but the guy had access to his computer for a bit through LogMeIn. I told him if

The city is different, especially depending on your parking situation. I live downtown and couldn’t get my Ford Escape more than 3 feet out of my garage for almost two weeks this last winter. Granted, that was on all seasons (I had just bought it a few weeks prior), but cars being stuck everywhere due to both bad grip

It kind of amazes me, but high end dealerships (both car and motorcycle) I have found, in general, to be the most welcoming places. I’ve been given the keys to $25K+ motorcycles and just be asked for a photocopy of my drivers license. This happened in the same week that I was told I couldn’t test ride a Honda CBR250R
