I was going to comment on this too. I know someone that had a VW Phaeton and has since had a Continental GT and BMW 750i, and he still says the Phaeton was the best car he's ever had. It's to the point that he regularly browses for low-mileage Phaetons hoping to find another one some day.

The plane was being delivered to a customer in Hawaii. To make that trip they remove all of the seats and fit it with extra fuel tanks. There was apparently a malfunction with one of them, so he had the fuel to make the trip, it just couldn't get to the engine.

This was my favorite article about that one, just for this quote:

That particular plane was $800K. Ouch.

Are you taking it on the National Corvette Museum's track? That thing is my new favorite track after I was lucky enough to be part of the first motorcycle event there last year. So many sweet elevation changes.

Definitely need to emphasize this. I bought a mechanical keyboard switch tester (little platform with form different kinds of switches) and it took over two months to get it.

Yeah, it's a $25 option so even us plebs can afford it. I'm sure it just comes from normal cows whereas the leather on the Lamborghini phone is from cows raised on a diet of caviar and faberge eggs.

*Puts leather-backed Moto X into pocket and slowly walks away*

I'd love to see some Demuro ramblings on even MORE impractical cars.

Aside from the cop being cool, this is (for some people), very effective.

+1 to this. I unfortunately tested my Hit-Air at the track recently and I will never ride without it again. There's no way to know what would've happened, but this would have been one nasty hit on the back of my head without the airbag there. Instead I picked up the bike, walked away, and just wound up with a stiff

In the same way that the i8 has a 911 coming out of its ass, I feel like this has an unidentified economy car slowly rising out of the top.

It depends on how your house is wired apparently, but it was a massive lifesaver for me. In a big city it was infinitely more stable and usable to have wifi at both ends of my apartment, and I had tried everything including repeaters without satisfactory results. A $30 Powerline kit saved the day. I now also use a

I have a little portable router like this and it was invaluable while I was travelling heavily for work for a while. I was mostly in a hotel that had REALLY fast wired internet and garbage wifi, so I just gave my hotel room its own little hotspot and it was perfect. Made accessing the internet on my computer really

I had noticed this was "a camera thing" since I've always noticed cars doing it on Top Gear and if I point my camera phone at some cars the lights would do it, but I was never quite sure of the reason, thanks for the science-ing!

My first thought was he was on the phone with his wife and he wasn't supposed to be at the races... But your idea makes way more sense.

Keep in mind they don't mention emissions at all, because the motorcycle designation legally allows them to forego all that messy and expensive emissions equipment, like evaporative emissions canisters, exhaust gas recirculation, and even the staple of cleaner air technology in cars - the catalytic converter.
