This wouldn’t have affected me since it was way late into the game when I realized you could fast travel from anywhere. I thought you had to use the spirit wells anyways.

Speed runners have played the game hundreds or thousands of times. They’ve seen everything in the game and know it like that back of their hand. Most probably did play and explore at a more normal pace at the beginning. They are well beyond that now.

I couldn’t get over how clean Tokyo was for a city its size. But, if you come from America, that will probably be your reaction to most of the country.
