Speaking about airflow through the engine, wouldn’t it be kind of bad to have the exhaust on the top side? I mean, don’t rotary engines have a lot of air jetting out through the exhaust compared to a normal piston-engine car? If the exhaust is on the top side, then that means the pipes have to bend at an awkward angle…
