Agreed, I see a lot of “imove” and “Ling Long” tires on cars. Its rather alarming! (along with bald tires, just as alarming)

Did we learn what caused the engine failure? Just curious since it seems it wasn’t the carbs freezing.

I agree, since they’re going to be spending close to 200m I wonder what the feasibility is of doing this. Once its out of the water then corrosion is not so much as an issue, especially if they put a tent or dome over it.

Click bait headline. In the article he’s in space per NASA not having an official boundary. Is there a point to this article?

This is incredibly clean, I mean, even at a $2k fix its worth it for such a clean example. And in black, perfect interior. You don’t see these anymore on the East Coast, so you have the unique factor here.

1st Gear: This is just my speculation but I wonder if Mercedes will start phasing out part production for ICE vehicles within the next 10-15 years.

You know what this car is? Its like a modern-day SAAB 900 5-door with AWD. It even has the cornering lamps like a SAAB. I always liked these, but dismissed them because of the price, but sheesh they getting some massive discounts. I might look into one of these.

It pains me to admit, its true. I love my SAAB wagon, but its not as painless getting kids in and out as my wife’s Pilot. I’m tall so its me bending over more with the car. that being said, I’m holding on to the car for dear life because I enjoy the driving experience more. But I totally get why CUVs are popular. I

Right, does no one want to make the affordable cars we normal people can afford?

Pilot owner here, yeah no 4 year old is going to know to depress the brake pedal before putting the car into reverse, and its a very hard and awkward movement for a child that age to be able to reach the pedal and then snake their body around to pull that stupid lever to the right the wheel. Parent of a 5 year old and

Then how are you getting it from the airport to the site thats miles away?

The NADA is not the reason there hasn’t been a proliferation of factory stores in the U.S..”

Its so frustrating watching things on the streaming service I am with you. I’ve been burned so many times.

I disagree, NADA is a US-based concept. My implication was to do away with privately owned dealers and have factory stores. Trust me, I used to sell cars, car salesmen are not experts on the product - just on how to make money off of you.

There are no reasons dealers need to be privately owned. There is no reason companies like Ford would not have factory stores with inventory, just like Apple has a factory store with inventory. The likely hood is less movement on negotiating but I imagine the market would dictate discounts based on inventory and

Those side-marker indicators appear to be lifted from a SAAB 900/9k of that era. Makes sense GM owned a controlling stake in SAAB at that time.

Hey who let the normie in?

Is there really any other answer other than the SouthWest? Can anyone really make an argument against that? I’ve lived all over, mostly SoCal and NJ/NY/MA/ME and I can tell you California (especially SoCal) is the king of cool cars. Florida has a good showing, even NJ does but it’s not in the same league.

How is the backseat space, like for someone who has 2 kids...

Thank you I was thinking ... why does this look so familiar?
