I disagree, NADA is a US-based concept. My implication was to do away with privately owned dealers and have factory stores. Trust me, I used to sell cars, car salesmen are not experts on the product - just on how to make money off of you. 

There are no reasons dealers need to be privately owned. There is no reason companies like Ford would not have factory stores with inventory, just like Apple has a factory store with inventory.
