Those Bennys! ;)
Those Bennys! ;)
Agreed, people are very reactionary as well. I remember in 2008, many of my co-workers in Los Angeles traded in their SUVs for hybrids and small cars, even though they took a quite a big hit on their trade. It feels like people decide based solely on how it feels to fill up your tank.
When I see transformations like this it tells me the leadership doesn’t really understand its own brand. The kidney grille is the core of BMW design language. Changing it is like them saying “Well, this is as far as we can go with this, I’m out of ideas.”
Its funny, even my w126 420SEL was tail happy in the rain without good tires, and it not even that powerful like yours!
9ks are great, sadly no wagons though so i can get more in the sportcombi. The 9ks rusted out by now in New England but they were/are great cars.
I love it when I catch repairs while still under warranty! My good friend’s ‘13 XV had the bottom-end replaced under warranty. I don’t think they gave him any hassle at all, seems like Subaru customer service is pretty solid.
Yes, thank you for saying this. I have two 9-5 wagons, really great cars. Just a joy to drive even though its FWD, the seats are just are just fantastic. Never have I been uncomfortable in one on a long drive.
Agreed, I was intrigued by this when it came out until I whacked my big noggin’ getting out of it at the Boston Auto show. Whats the point of a hatch if the roof slopes back so far its not comfortable to sit in?
Not if they keep designing the interiors like they do. Holy cheap and bland.
I believe the FB20 has has a warranty issue with the bottom ends due to oil consumption. My friend’s ‘13 XV had the bottom end replaced under 50k. Good news is they seem to be honoring the replacement!
That guy looks like he was probably texting, just his facial expressions on how he smirked.
Having “restored” my SAAB 900 SPG from sitting for 8 years and becoming a mouse poop machine ... all I can see with these cars is mice and poop. I have PSTD thinking about it, once its full of mouse poop and urine its never the same again. Shame though, that w126 500 SEC appears to have the euro front bumper too. But,…
I know right? I would love to take a late model A4 All-Road with the painted fender package and lower it, the fender flairs reminds me of the 1980's. When a car had flairs, you knew it meant business!
Exactly! I keep pitching the whole “jack up the Mazda 6 AWD wagon by 1 inch and put useless unpainted cladding on it, import it and profit” to anyone who will listen.
Ah science maths stuff! I like it, probably a car then...
I was thinking the same with the ground effects (does that make me sound really old when i use that term?), but then I remember some crossovers are like that. Guess I’ll just have to wait and see.
Is this a crossover or a car, I cant tell anymore? We need a person to stand next to it, otherwise I cant tell.
