Wouldn’t you call the person playing the trumpet an artist? Not just the person who wrote the music for the trumpet player. She’s the person manipulating the instrument in addition to being the instrument. 

You don’t necessarily have to write songs to be considered an artist (Frank Sinatra is a legend). Singing and dancing are both art forms unto themselves.

The obvious desire to insinuate that Alec Baldwin is criminally responsible for purposefully shooting someone is gross.

Why call out that there was no definitive proof the gun was not a prop gun, but not any of the other facts of the story that came from the same or similar sources (i.e. the investigators)? Seems like you’re trying to imply something.

What a cunt move, Shannon. “Alec Baldwin discharged a firearm on the set of his latest film” is followed soon thereafter with, “The firearm, which is being referred to as a “prop gun” in the media without any definitive proof that it was not a real firearm...”

What the fuck is this headline? It makes it sound like Baldwin was complicit in some way in the shooting. I get it, he’s an asshole, but there’s literally 0 evidence that on his end this was anything but an awful accident. The prop guy may be culpable, but Baldwin sure as shit isn’t. 

This is a secondary tale, but it’s always stuck with me. People, cherish your dogs.

Jesus some of the comments here have a whiff of misogyny. Why should she be humble about her intelligence?? Most men certainly aren’t.

A lot of people commented that that story was so creepy but I found it…uplifting? They ghost loved her neighbor and home so much that she wanted to let her friend know that she had passed on, and then went home. 

I already did all the activism. I did so much more activism than she did.

I want a whole thread of just non-supernatural stories. Not that I wish to shit on anyone’s enjoyment of the supernatural ones! You do you! But these ones, these are the ones that scare the bejesus out of me, while the supernatural ones always make me kind of inattentive.
