Yes ... When I saw the first Fantastic Beasts movie in theaters, the whole audience groaned when Johnny Depp was revealed.

This has nothing to do with anything, but just wanted to mention that my young daughter spent some time with Tamron Hall a few years ago, and that Ms. Hall was kind, warm, intelligent, and basically awesome.

It’s horrifying to think of the fear he must have felt in his last moments.

Yay! I am so happy whenever there’s an article that prompts people to post photos of their adorable dogs.

I just googled “Barron peek-a-boo” after reading your post and saw the video. It’s the only time I’ve seen Barron smiling, and he looks so delighted by the baby. It made me feel so sad for him.

I looked at the comments on the linked article, and of course there were people completely denying that there was racism involved — saying that none of us know whether this account is correct or whether the guy did anything to deserve being stopped and detained for an hour.

I cannot wait for this.

Apparently the balconies are fully enclosed by some kind of fencing or metal mesh (which is why he brought wire cutters on his climb). So once he realized his mom was safe, maybe it didn’t make sense to stay up there cutting his way into the balcony so that he could get in.  (This is my speculation.)

She is amazing and lovely. I hope the team gets a pay increase, and I hope she gets some lucrative endorsements — what a great spokesperson she would be for some brand.

No one’s talking about setting aside slots for minorities. The comment was about doing more to encourage (or provide opportunities for) minority girls to play soccer in the first place.

This is unbelievably heartbreaking.  

We have a cat (who is both wonderful and kind of an asshole), but my daughter, who loves all animals, has been begging for a small dog for years. I love dogs and keep getting close to saying yes, but I think I’d feel guilty — because the dog would be home alone for so much of the day while we’re at school or work. So…

It makes me genuinely happy when people respond to a pet-related post by posting photos of their own pets. Your dogs are adorable. 

I’m Asian-American and my daughter’s father is of Scottish descent, and I was (and still am) often assumed to be her nanny.
