I’m sensing some Tatra vibes here.
I’m sensing some Tatra vibes here.
Please be a wagon.
Seriously?
Only 100 miles?
While GM and Tesla are introducing 200 mile vehicles, and Nissan is going to follow in the next years?
I just saw that on Tesla’s website!
Is that the twin charger?
How does it work?
A bit early, but I still chuckled.
The numbers BMW give for their charger are a bit unrealistic.
Knowing that the battery pack is 7.6 kWh, in order to charge it in half an hour, at 240V, the charger would need to be rated at 63 amps, which is not quite realistic for a 240V charger.
That’s a shody translation.
In context, it defines an elaborated version of the car.
I wouldn’t be against Jalopnik transfering to Vice.
Quite.
I really hope Jalopnik will be bought off by another group and keep their current staff in the eventuality that Gawker would go bankrupt.
I do a lot of highway driving, and noise and economy wise, I always put it in 6th. It makes a substantial difference (2500rpm at 70 in 6th vs 3300rpm in 5th). I mostly drive between 65-75 mph due to our low speed limits.
I slightly disagree concerning the Nissan CVT.
Yes, it’s horrible on a Sentra.
But on the new Maxima SR, it’s actually quite sharp (for an automatic).
Hell, it’s much more enjoyable than the 9-speed on the TLX!
Didn’t you guys write an article about it already?
Nevertheless, still an interesting interview.
#sarcasm, in response to the dillusional Penguins fan.
Only in the Jalopnik comments will one be tempted to figure out the etymology of an italian insult:
What about the plug-in?
Any words on the pricing?
Is has a 48 km range from a 16 kWh battery, and could be a more spacious alternative to the Outlander plug-in. If it’s well priced, Chrysler might have some success.
Also, good on them for planning a 6.6 kW charger: you’ll get a full charge in less than 2.5 hours.
The Volt…
It’s a very decent compact SUV, and it’s perfectly adapted for city/suburb driving.
However, beware of the sudden body roll when you take a fast curve.
If you want something decent for mountain driving, take the Lancer AWC instead.
