Opinions are like assholes: everybody’s got one. But good opinions are like chins and necks: Whitlock hasn’t had one in probably thirty years.
They were better than usual, certainly. The Cavs being probably their worst iteration helped. That Pacers/Cavs series was nice and the Celtics mushing the 6ers was a fun surprise. ECF was also better than recent years, even if it got a little rock-fighty for my tastes.
I feel like any iteration of those four teams in the second round should be fun as hell. The ECF should be great too. Not to mention any of those four are more enjoyable than LeBron on Cleveland against the Warriors for the fifth straight year.
This is the best NBA odd couple since Z-Bo and Marc Gasol and the trade makes the Sixers exponentially more likable. I’m sold. Second round of the East playoffs should be super fun.
I continue to believe they need a third team in the deal offering a player who is actually good and not just young. Eric Snow with better vision and a louder dad isn’t really a proper headliner.
After all, nothing says “loyalty” like switching agents and demanding a trade with 18 months on your contract. It’s science.
Let’s remember some guys:
Good and terrifying information, old guy. Thanks.
The entire roster is lottery busts! It’s amazing. All they need to do is pull Anthony Bennett out of the G-League to spell Mario fucking Hezonia.
What I’ve read had top speeds between 80 and 90 mph while casual folks sit somewhere between 20 and 40 mph.
By all accounts, he genuinely likes the area (beats Oklahoma, certainly) and playing with Steph and Klay. On the other hand, he’s genuinely a weirdo and nobody seems to have a great read on what’s important to him. I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if he leaves, but I remain baffled any top-flight player would…
Agree on Russ. Klay’s inclusion over Gobert was surprising too–he’s been back to normal (i.e. an All-Star) the past two or three weeks, but he scuffled for a good 25-30 games. Both Russ & Klay got in on reputation over Gobert, which blows.
Hey Kevin. We realize you left a great team with an elite PG to play with an even better PG on an even better team. Now that you’ve gotten all that success out of your system, can we interest you in some Emmanuel Mudiay pick and rolls?
As good as Jrue was, the most satisfying part of the game was Harden pushing off with 15 seconds left, running out of bounds hoping for another bail out whistle, and sealing the loss when he didn’t get the call.
Okay, buddy. We’re not getting anywhere with your moving goal posts. Be good.
Pink Skull handled some of that (he’s not shooting 26%. You know stats are easily findable on the ol’ internet, right?).
Also, in what universe is Lonzo the second best player on that team? He might be worse than frigging Rondo!
You don’t need to make stuff up to validate your LeBron stanning. It’s okay, man.
