If you’re judging anything on SB Nation comments, you’re probably not as smart as you think you are.

If this is how the people you know in SF behave, you need to move neighborhoods or get new friends.
I mean, Hinkie took Embiid in spite his injury issues. That was savvy (though, again, he’s yet to play 82 games, total, in the NBA, so we’re not totally out of the woods here). And he caught way too much shit on this site for rebranding tanking. But I wasn’t aware he personally rehabbed Embiid into an all-star. That’s…
Verdict: WASHED
You missed Kendrick Perkins tweeting that he was going back to the Cavs, then deleting it. No matter how that turns out it will be incredibly depressing.
This is some galaxy brain-ass shit.
Honestly, it’s never made sense to me either, but a lot of writers I respect seem to take the rumors seriously. The East–the Raptors & Celtics in particular–is better but the going west means playing the Warriors, Houston, and/or San Antonio in the playoffs instead of, like, the fucking Hawks. Doesn’t seem wise.
“Isaish Thomas” was not traded to an Eastern Conference rival!
+1 for explaining what “Eastern Conference rival” connotes here. And also for “ding dongs.”
So the Cavs traded their second best player to an Eastern Conference rival and cleared cap space at the rumored destination for their best player? DAN GILBERT’S BACK YOU GUYS!
He’s slipped noticeably. Still gets his chasedown blocks but is mostly disengaged on help, doesn’t fight through screens, and looks for teammates to blame when he misses his rotations.
In that accurate list of reasons why the Cavs are putrid, I’d add that LeBron hasn’t played defense in a month and a half and that the team seems to hold Ty Lue in the same regard Allen Iverson once did.
For my money, Avery Bradley is the real guy they’re missing. I know he’s been fairly mediocre in Detroit (welcome to LA, though Avery) but he always stuck with Steph well and made things harder for him, which only a few guys in the league can do 1-on-1. Terry Rozier looked lost and Kyrie’s not going to be able to do…
I’m not sure what yahoo was spouting that, but the Warriors tend to get up for teams they hate/teams that have disrespected them (or ones Draymond’s imagined disrespected them). The Celtics aren’t that. The Warriors guys really seem to genuinely love Kyrie, probably heightened by the fact he told LeBron to go fuck…
“I think Dan continues to believe in the name.”
Steph woulda cooked anybody last night. Ditto Kyrie, honestly. He was terrifying in the first half. So many tough shots made effortlessly.
Parappa the Rapper
Fuck dude, I’m right here.
I’ve found a really elegant solution for all of this: don’t drop the n-bomb or have an Instagram account. You’d be surprised how well it works!
Yeah, if I’m a Bucks fans, I’m not crying over spilt soda over this.
