Sounds like you have a bad unit; maybe some bad ram or CPU. Take it in for warranty service.

Waffles are better.
Why do you hate progress?
Forgot about that. And I even bought one of those a while back for my g/f, but she kept it on iOS 3.1
Trees don't create mass; they take mass from the soil and hold water. If this is properly architected, they can estimate the weight of a fully saturated structure. Buildings are made to hold a certain amount of snow/water on the roof in cold climates, and resist severe weather (storms) in more tropical areas. Office…
..... It means it was made in 2010. It doesn't imply there is a 2011 model. There could be, but it is just as likely they will go from 2010 to 2012.
911 is for emergencies; they are not the operator. Your first issue would have been better served by dialing zero and asking for the local sheriff office. The second issue; yeah, sounds like they should have just sent some cops out.
I think so..... what is it? (comment padded to allow reply)
Best tablet value of all time. You can't argue with "it cost less to buy than it did to make".
Except not all the code from Apple is active on any particular phone. If you have an exchange account, there is a code that runs to login to exchange and get email. If you use Yahoo, it doesn't use the exchange code. That's just one small example. One set of settings could cause this problem, but determining what…
Because it only has 8G of storage? And you can't buy a bigger model?
Holy crap, no home button? You have to aim at an invisible target?
Deadliest Catch does this, they put cameras on the crab pots and on the throwing hook used to pull in the line. Neat to see someone throw a hook into the ocean and the boat receeds from view. Another great example of this is the cameras NASA puts on the SRB's.
"But while it makes nods to the present day, it doesn't use our time as a plot mechanism. And that was smart."
Oops, I forgot it was the foam. "small piece" is relative, I believe the Columbia disaster was caused by a suitcase-sized piece of foam.
Antennagate was legitimate, IMO. It was a design issue that affected all iPhone 4 released at that time. "Batterygate" is bullshit, because it isn't widespread, and doesn't appear to be a hardware or design issue. Something in software is causing the issue, and a software fix will resolve it.
I had this same issue several times on my old 3G iphone. Removing and re-adding the exchange account would resolve it, for at least a few months.
No problems on 4S, but I was not having battery issues prior to iOS 5.0.1.
And where is all that electricity going to come from?
What, are you going to heat the entire external fuel tank? It's flammable you know :) Also, that would add a LOT of weight, even if you only did the area above the delta wings.
