Not only are the 2,000+ kids awaiting reunion still locked up, the new policy is family detention in internment camps for indefinite time periods. The old policy Trump dubbed ‘catch and release’ that supervised people in the community, including ankle monitors for adults, was over 99% effective at getting people to

Interesting how there’s been no news or article on SplinterNews (aka BernieBros Central Online(TM)) on the arrest of Susan “Hillary would be much worse than Trump” Sarandon, when she was involved in some immigration protests against the immigration and child separation policies of the,.... “Not-As-Bad-As-Hillary-Would-

I’d trade every single one of these marches in exchange for progressives adopting the same kind of discipline in their voting habits that the right consistently displays.

Tokyo Drifter. The library had a big selection of Criterion titles and I thought a Japanese crime film would be good. Ha. Not even five minutes in I was wondering what I had found. I went back and got Branded to Kill. Within a few days I was a big Suzuki fan. It was mind-blowing. Rarely happens to me with movies now.

I like how this show gets lightly thematic. They never beat you over the head with things. The story of the woman jumping to her death with her cats just lightly ties to Holden’s leap into the sphere & the Thomas Prince’s countdown to entering the ring - their leap of faith.

Damn that scene with Bobbie and her fellow MCR was tense, when they confronted Holden. I just kept muttering for them to stand down before something bad happened, and then the protomolecule just disassembled their commanding officer.

This is one show that makes me want to rehash the moniker once reserved for the Person of Interest comment section:

“... with her cats?”
