Oh, please. The amount of workers “free riding” is probably the minority of all jobs in right to work states. It’s almost as if people can’t represent themselves and their skills to their employers.
That’s the beauty of right to work
Since it’s a rear-drive car, the front tires really don’t need to be as wide as they are...
As far as staying power, I think it’s hard to argue against Jimmie Johnson’s 7th championship...especially since he started dead last and won the race
I disagree, I think the last 3 championship battles were amazing and I was way more involved in following along than I was in previous years. But I guess that’s been a goal - improving the “on-track product”. It’s been exciting as ever.
Alanis, great work as usual. The problem lies in that many fans still think NASCAR is about racing. It is not and hasn’t been for many years. NASCAR is in the entertainment industry. The “on-track product” and the “moments” and “drama” are what NASCAR is about.
It’s not quirte straight-on. Probably done to hide the rear body skew
Exactly. From the same CIA that was confident they had a “slam dunk” case against Saddam and his WMD’s
Don’t you think that maybe spending 100's of millions and dollars and dropping tens of thousands of bombs on ISIS legitimizes them anyway?
Fair point. It’s impossible to know what percentage of the $1.2B was re-invested and what percentage was cashed out. I still dont buy that $1.2B completely left the market however.
He’s not removing value from the market as a whole, he’s removing value from LMT. That 1.2B just got swirled around and invested elsewhere.
No, The Truck and Xfinity series are having their banquets at the Loews Miami Beach Hotel - owned by Loews Hotels
No, that’s not what he said. He implied it is unlikely Carlos Slim and Daniel would’ve worked on their own to put him in a competitive ride in the Xfinity series. It’s not about talent in NASCAR, it’s about how much money you can bring. Carlos Slim can bring the money, but without France’s help Suarez would still be…
To be fair, NASCAR has spent a lot of time and money on the Drive for Diversity program - in part to imporve NASCAR’s image. So if I was him I’d be annoyed if someone was questioning his diversity efforts.
Those cars aren’t fuel-injected. The broadcasters were correct.
Oh no doubt. He probably deserved to win the championship and he performed well enough that he should have advanced had his engine not expired. The current-form Chase has rewarded Kevin Harvick and Kyle Busch the last two years pretty fairly. Should we have the Chase? Idk. I just know I like it better than a driver…
...but I guess I’m still in the traditional racing mindset that rewards consistency over unpredictability.
Hate to break it to you but more racing goes on in NASCAR than any of the other top motorsports, rivaled only by V8SC
