Like most of their claims, it’s hyperbole. But charging a 100 kWh battery from 10% t0 60% in an hour shouldn’t be impossible on a 100kW DC rapid charger. The unrealistic part is thinking that even an aerodynamically efficient car like this would consume only 10 kW per 100 miles at highway speeds.
Those are the brake drums. The wheels are the thin rims that bolt directly to the perimeter of the drums.
