...then of course there’s the dead guy in the trunk.

The aftermarket support for suspension mods, brake mods, basically any mods for these is huge.  If you’re looking for a wagon you can autocross, this is it.

Isn’t KLM owned by Air France?

Well, obviously! (double checks number of remaining legs)

Not only was the Beetle a gateway drug for weird cars, if I remember the sixties correctly (and it’s entirely possible that I DON’T), it was also a gateway car for weird drugs.

In southern Africa they have this thing called a “drift” which is essentially an underwater river crossing. It’s cheaper than a bridge, and can also serve as a dam.

Overtaking on two lane roads can be a hazard. Otherwise, once you stop signalling turns with the wipers it’s easy peasy.

ew.

I’d settle for them simply offering the ID3 in North America, but apparently we require the crossover version with inferior range at greater cost.

Dollar General.

Does anyone even bale hay anymore?

Yerwelcome.

Jason is taillights. David is prop rods.

Do you live where it gets cold? When struts start to fail, the first failure is that they won’t hold in the cold. Then I replace them, so I never had one get so bad that it wouldn’t work in the summer.

What’s an embassador? Do they work at an ambassy?

Given the higher wind-drag-to-weight ratio of bikes, the highway range is likely to take a greater hit relative to mixed driving when compared to other EVs. Since most recreational riding is mostly highway the real world range on the highway matters.

Depend on a range extender to compensate for a small battery, then build that range extender out of an air-cooled, inefficient, and not especially reliable scooter engine sure is a winning formula.

Air inlet vents at the top edge of the rear fenders let cooling air into the engine. cooling air discharges under the car. removable service panel under the (relatively high) load floor is insulated for heat and sound, and is sealed to prevent exhaust penetration into cabin.

So, can you make this a series? Next up: Honda Civic, 1973 to present.

Which means if you’re poor, you end up with a (used) car designed with rich people’s priorities in mind, rather than simplicity, efficiency, long term reliability, easy repairability etc.
